I agree with you. They can put into place anything they want but it's all economically unsustainable. All these massive social programs were poised to push the economy over the edge. Health care is just the last one that will tank the economy. China has told us they are no longer going to buy our bonds so how long will it be until our accounts run dry? It won't be long.
