i have worked with this for 4 years straight now here in Nashville, we moved out in the country this summer and now it’s like another country period in this regard...public schools ..not too PC and none of the distraction the 25% bused from the projects caused..

folks simply have to get brutally candid about this.

Otherwise known as family & home built on fatherhood pursuant to lawful matrimony. In the disintegration of the black family, we are seeing why the nuclear family structure is so important to society and how a free society is next to impossible without it.

Government of the people, by the people and for the people begins at home, evolving from childhood lessons in self discipline. Which in turn is dependent upon the peculiarities of relatioships based on parental responsibility & authority founded on love, which breeds the necessary ingredients for a child to grow up respecting the place of rightful authority, the essence of the rule of law.

Without the restoration of some modicum of Judeo-Christian sexual morality, I see no hope, just a continuing acceleration of the state doing the part of husbanding for homes headed by single-mothers, and now grandmas & great-aunts....

Memphis is located within Shelby County. Memphis has their own government, school system, police dept, etc. Wharton was the county mayor and headed the county govt until the former Memphis city mayor, WW Herenton resigned/retired. Wharton was recently elected.

I was born in 51 (white male), and what you say about being responsible for the anti-social behavior of so many young people now very much resonates with me. I long ago noticed younger people trying to emulate what we were, and I've often wished that I could have set a better example. No Mr Moronic Mayor... The problem is that you have too many murderers running around. What you need to do is tell the law abiding citizens you need a little help shooting these murderers. They can pretty much be identified by the falling down pants, backwards cap, weird hand gestures, foul language and aggressive behavior. If one of these cretins comes near you and threatens your safety with a gun...shoot to kill.

Precisely- it's not a hardware problem ( guns )-- it's a software problem ( drugs, gangs, and criminals )...
