The FBI knew for nearly a year before his murderous Fort Hood rampage that psycho Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan had repeatedly contacted al Qaeda -- but the blundering agency last night admitted it dismissed the lead.
The clueless G-men said that at the time, they simply chalked up the chilling e-mails between Hasan and a radical imam and other terror-tied Islamic figures to his "research" as an Army shrink.
Outraged congressional leaders immediately called for a probe into the debacle -- and the red-faced agency vowed to get to the bottom of things itself.

December 2008. How convenient for Obama. Blame Bush.
The same f.b.i. who knowingly allowed an innocent man to go to jail for murder for decades to protect the true murderer.
That murderer was an informant.\
The same f.b.i. that covers up the real happenings when muslim terrorists blew up the Murrah building? Tyhe same f.b.i. the covered up the moosies taking down that airliner over n.y.?
Yeah, I have lots of confidence in the f.b.i.
Is the current head wearing ladies clothes like the founder?
Who do they think he is, Pete Townshend?
Please tell me this is satire. Because if it isn’t, we are more screwed than we thought.
Anyone thinking the FBI is a professional, elite, caring proactive law enforcement agency, must have missed the outright murder of Vicky Weaver and her son. The “Warsaw ghetto” destruction at Waco, and the proven instances of outright criminal manipulation of evidence in cases against citizens. It doesn’t matter if a R or a D is in the White House either, it is NOT a top notch institution.
The same blundering agency that refused to listen to one of its own agents who wanted to investigate the curiously high number of flight students out West who wanted to learn to fly and navigate but had no interest in landing.
The same blundering agency that ignored the man who walked into its NY office before 9/11 and told them he was one of two dozen men who were being trained to hijack airliners and crash them into buildings in America, but had changed his mind.
And here I thought the government’s only legitimate role is to protect its citizens. Silly me. Now I realize that the government’s real role is to perpetuate problems so that it can expand to “solve” them.
Hadn’t Obambi already set up his President Elect office? Kind of hard to blame Bush when Obambi was showing everyone who was the boss.
According to F&F this morning, the FBI also passed this information along to Army Intel, which, in turn, blew it off...
When did an active-duty member of the Armed Forces attempting to contact the enemy become *not* treason??
What is amazing about this is that that liberal morons that came up with this “diversity” crap will not be held accountable for all the dead soldiers.
What is worst is that they same morons in the government will not change policy. So what is going to stop the bad guys from doing this again. Unbelievable!
Well he wasn't on Bush's DHS transition team. And I'm going to post that information every chance I get.
HASAN WAS ON OBAMA'S DHS TRANSITION TEAM. Hoekstra said this Administration is REFUSING to release information relevant to the investigation.
my super secret sources say the white house knew about it and did nothing about it and allow it to happen
If you have a chance to read “Unintended Consequences” you will be even more jaded about the Federal Govt. It is the “Atlas Shrugged” of gun lovers. It is a pseudo-history, weaving the past reality into a future possible event. It is free online lots of places.
It’s now woefully apparent that there are a bunch of spooks and Army generals who have American blood on their hands.
It's not all the fault of the singular individuals, but more like an organizational, cultural thing.
The time has long past to look the other way and be silent. We must, at all costs, enact term limit legislation, vote out the anti American Senators and Congressmen, and ferret out any civil servant who refuses to uphold our Constitution.
If we do not rise to this challenge, our Country is lost.
Research? Well that’s some weird research! How was this research supposed to help his patients?
IMO some senior Army heads need to roll - they can start with either the Secretary or the Chief of Staff, it doesn’t matter which. PC Gone Wild .....
