Nov. 3 is after October, isn't it?
An observation | 28OCT'09 | mapmaker77

As the polls in the N.J. governors race go up and down, the race appears to be inside 5 points either way depending on who you listen to. The incumbent gov, Jon Corzine, is not very popular due to his tax and spend policies, as well as his partys' affiliation with pols engaged in massive corruption. His GOP opponent, Chris Christy, doesn't have the same baggage, (except around the waistline), and I have not seen anything that links him to the kind of nefarious doings that the dims are up to. So, everything else being equal, a pretty close race.

But, this election is being held on Nov. 3rd., which is not in October. Why is this important? Because in the wake of the acorn scandals of this fall, in which we caught a glimpse of the depths of depravity that they are involved in, it became obvious that this enterprise should be denied any public funding. And congress did subsequently vote to defund this criminal organisation. However, it was only for the month of October. So, as of November 1st, acorn is back in the game. And acorns' biggest claim to fame has always been voter fraud and election theft. If Christy were to win this one by less than 5000 votes, don't be surprised to see lots of dim votes showing up in the unlikeliest places, like little acorns under the trees.

P.S. Does anyone know the party affiliation of the N.J. SecState? Just curious.

NJ Secretary of State is a Democrat, of course.

Holding out any hope of a Republican victory in NJ is akin to waiting up Christmas night in hopes of catching a glimpse of Santa Clause. We’ve been through this before a couple of times on FR just since I’ve been a member with a Republican ahead in the polls there only to find out on election night it wasn’t close. Folks in NJ are comfortable with their corrupt politicians as long as they get a tiny slice of the pie.

One would think the article could at least spell Chris Christie’s name correctly...guess not.

Isn’t that something. Lived here 48 years and didn’t even know it. My apologies.
