Kerry, Berman want controversial Honduras report to be retracted (John F? Kerry wants? heh heh)

Senior congressional Democrats want a report on the ouster of Honduran president Manuel Zelaya to be retracted.

Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) and Rep. Howard Berman (D-Calif.) made the demand in a letter dated Tuesday to James Billington, the Librarian of Congress. They asked the Law Library of Congress to withdraw and correct the August 2009 report titled “Honduras: Constitutional Issues.”

“The report, which has contributed to the political crisis that still wracks Honduras, contains factual errors and is based on a flawed legal analysis that has been refuted by experts from the United States, the Organization of American States, and Honduras,” Kerry and Berman wrote in the letter.

“Thank you for your attention to this important matter. The stakes are too high to allow the record to stand uncorrected,” the chairmen write.

Yes, the stakes are too high!

A would be communist dictator has been ousted. This can not stand!

It is not just John Kerry that is frightened of this.

It is the entire administration. They have played with a heavy hand in a dispute that they helped create.

They arranged a 2-billion dollar finance deal for Lula in Brazil for an offshore drilling project that will be financed by a loan from the Export/Import Bank (pres. is a recent Obozo appointee). That is viewed by many as the payoff for Lula’s support of the takeover of Honduras. Lula is a founder of the Sao Paulo Fourum (Lefties attempting a huge takeover in Central and South America - Castro, Ortega, Lula, Zelaya and others).

Kerry: ran from Vietnam at the first chance.
Now the yellow stinker is horrified by ink on the page.

G-d Love You Massachussetts. How can you vote for a waste like Kerry?

Yes, John has some old ties to Daniel Ortega. His past follows him wherever he goes. Traitors are like that. But he is a currently unpunished Traitor.

Thanks for the photo link.

We shall see.

I have some old personal grudges against these cretin, that go back to the early 1980’s. Up close and personal looks at what they are, from my time in NM.

First hand experience with the Nicaraguan surrogates in NM stirring in the pot.

You’re welcome. The pic was taken during the mid 80’s, and the other two are Tom Harkin & wife. For an embarrassing number of decades, I’ve watched the American left collaborate with every mortal enemy this country has had. I can’t express how intensely I despise those bastards.

Agreed, and there is a copy of that photo on my hard drive also. Goes back long before he had Presidential ambitions.

The John Kerry “Reporting for Duty” fraud himself.

Remember the pics with the Vietnam War protesters and those with Teddy Kennedy. John in his un-ribboned fatigues. You remember that he said he threw away his medals.

That’s interesting. In the mid ‘70s I knew the daughter of a Nicaraguan diplomat here in CO. At least I think that’s what he was. He was on the opposite side from Ortega anyway. She was a beautiful young woman. Intelligent too. She brushed off my advances immediately as well as tactfully.

Lurch needs to just butt out! He cannot do anything positive for America, never has. And now, he thinks he knows the HONDURAN Constitution better than judges in HONDURAS?

He's undermining our Troops again and now, thinks he can undermine the sovereignty of another nation?

I saw both sides. The Mary Knoll Nuns from Nicaragua and the opposite side from Costa Rica (at the time our friend). That was my first exposure to Liberation Theology. I was very involved politically in NM then. Was Country Chairman when that was going on.

One of my friends who was on the Republican Central Committee was a Conservative Catholic who gave me reports on things as they happened. It was an odd part of the world in the Mining District in Western NM. The local university was populated by a bunch of lefties, my first exposure to real Commies.

This West Texas farm boy got an education there. I was well accepted by the locals, because they new that I was fair and could not be bought off.

Lurch is a very good handle for the cretin.

He is pretty stupid and seems never to know when to shut up.

It is amazing that he has never served time for his actions.

When this mess is over, we need to “examine” a lot of old Traitors.

One of the conclusions of the report:

"An analysis of the facts of the case and the aforementioned constitutional provisions leads one to the conclusion that the National Congress made use of its constitutional prerogative to interpret the Constitution and interpreted the word “disapprove” to include also the removal from office."

The National Congress did not have the authority to remove the president?

Here is a place to begin identifying the Traitors in our midst.

Something is not right here, Did they ever release the State Department opinion written by Harold Koh. I think they are hiding that for some reason.

I would trust DeMint over Kerry.

DeMint has already asked for it and was declined. I hope someone does pursue it, The fact they want it kept sealed is even more reason to see it.
