In August 1999 I awarded the Republican Medal Of Freedom and Republican Senatorial Inner Circle member.The United States Republican Senatorial Medal of Freedom, is the highest and most prestigious award that Republican U.S. Senators can bestow on an individual. Medals are given for contributions to the Republican Party either through statesmanship and/or economic contributions (medals are distinguished by designs).In 2002, I was awarded the RNC Eisenhower Commission Award under President George W. Bush. I also sat on the Board of Directors of the California Rifle and Pistol Association here in California in 2000.I was on their editorial and magazine committee for 2000-2001.I became a Life member of the Association of Air Force Missileers.AAFM has more than 3,200 members with experience in every Air Force missile system from the earliest systems developed after World War II to current missile and space systems. Members have been or are now involved in every aspect of missile and space research, development, test, operation, maintenance, instruction, security and support, both as members of the Air Force and as contractors. They range from those who served a single tour of duty as a young officer or airman to the most senior officer and enlisted leadership in the Air Force today.
