He collapsed because he was so pissed that he was not able to murder his wife for testifying against him.

He’s throwing a fit because his crime is catching up with him.

They can in the US as well but it has to be on a VOLUNTARY basis. The general rule is that a spouse cannot be FORCED to testify against a spouse. Force being the opperative word

He need not worry. Another Muslim will kill his wife for him. Just Muslims being Muslim.

A wife can testify against her husband ANYWHERE, she just can’t be FORCED to do it in the United States.

I thought he was overwhelmed at the sudden realization that he would be a finalist for next year’s Nobel Peace Prize.

I’ve heard restraint called many things but this takes
the cake.

Just think, if the press here had said,” Rodney King had
a fit and was helped to lie on the street by police
officers”, why there would have been no story at all...

>What did he write down on the ground?

I don’t know; it doesn’t say. But, often overlooked is that Jesus says to the woman to sin no more. The KJV of the verse, Jn 8:11, is:
She said, “No man, Lord.”
And Jesus said unto her, “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

So it CERTAINLY isn’t as though he is condoning sin; in fact, that he says ‘neither do I condemn thee’ implies that he could; and, theologically-speaking, as God He had EVERY right to do so.

Nobody knows what he wrote, but I’m betting that those who were bent on stoning “saw” their own sin written there, based on their reaction to it.

Wives can testify against husbands in England?

I believe wives can testify against their husbands here also. It's just that here they can't be forced to testify against their husband.....they can if they so choose.

did he collapse because he was sentenced to a swift execution?

I doubt it because the British do not execute people. I suspect he had a fit because his wife got uppity and testified against him--something not allowed under Sharia "law"--and now he will have to kill her too!
