God help her.
The laws of this once great republic just don’t protect the innocent anymore, do they?
So this whole case could be about someone here illegally. Damn!!.
The legal system didn’t give a damn for Terry Shiavo, why would they care a whit for Rifqa?
They are, IMO, knowing and deliberate collaborators in whatever fate her miserable menfolk have in mind for her.
She will need it. Her parents may try to get her back to Sri Lanka, or some muslim loon may try to get her dead.
Does anyone know when she turns 18?
They are going to get her and leave the nation? She’ll be as good as dead. The judges and lawyers will not shed a tear for being accomplices in her murder.
I have to side with Parental Rights on this one.
If the kid were 18 it would be a different story or if she could prove conclusively that her life were in danger.
Obama won’t produce his papers; why should she?
They would care about protecting her like all get-out if she were pregnant and seeking an abortion.
Does anyone know how long it will be before she turns 18?
The Florida court schedules another hearing for October 23 to see if the immigration papers have been supplied by Rifqa’s parents as ordered.
August 2010.
Sorry, I didn’t see your post. Oops
And if the girl is killed or spirited out of the US by the parents, what is the consequence to the judge - apparently none. She is 17. What is the age of majority in Florida and Ohio?
No problem!
Yes, send Rifqa back here to Ohio, where if the poor girl is right, it only makes it that much easier to kill her.
Guess they forgot that we had muslim terrorist’s living here who planned to blow up one of our malls but thank God were caught by homeland security before they could pull anything off.
I think it’s crazy. Maybe the judge should go for psychological evaluation and counseling instead of Rifqa. Because it only takes a second to slit her throat. Once she’s dead this judge can not give her her life back.
Conclusive proof may be forthcoming. Of course, it would be to late to help Rifqa.
She claims that her father threatened her. The authorites investigated the claim and found it lacking: They asked the Dad if he was going to kill his daughter and he said "No."
