There I was, sitting in Reagan National Monday morning, sipping a Starbucks by the United counter before going through security. I had a little time, so I was browsing through the news. That's when I saw Bill Ayers, an instant blight. Scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wirerims, heading to order. I gathered my things, got my camera ready, and snapped a shot right when he got his coffee.
He gave me an uneasy cheesy smile when he realized I was taking his picture.
I asked--what are you doing in D.C. Mr. Ayers?
[He said] he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education--that's what I do, education--you shouldn't believe everything you hear about me, you know nothing about me.
Then, unprompted he said--I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said--Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He's about my height, short. He went on to say--and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again--I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said--I wrote it.

I think he’s shinin’ her on ... either that
or he is truly arrogant to the point of being
certifiable.
That doesn’t look like Ayers...
He has been credited for the authorship for some time now by the people that he wants to know, his circle of marxists etc. He doesn't need the money and he doesn't care what the masses think. He wants to be credited for "generosity" to Obama by those he admires like Obama's czars, Castro, Chavez, etc.
His saying, "Prove it and we can split the royalties" is his way of saying to Ann Leary that she is powerless and he is on top. "Guilty as hell, free as a bird."
Either she’s a very poor writer, or this conversation never took place. I expect both.
He is still destroying things. He is doing incalculable damage to young minds.
He may be shinin’ her, but he brought it up - so it’s something on his mind.
“Be interesting to see if this goes anywhere. If he really did write it, then yes, its another Obama marketing ploy that makes suckers out of easily-duped Americans”
Duped by the MSM as much as obama’s clowns. Without the MSM in bed with him, he could not destroy our great country.
It’s him.
laughing...
Exactly right, IMO.
See some of the pics here.
My camera is dated a half day off. I only notice it when I load pictures into the computer in the morning and again in the evening because they go into different files.
She has a high degree of credibility in Chicago’s conservative blogging circle.
I have a hard time believing this. If Ayers wanted to “spill the beans” he could easily do so in a myriad different ways, as opposed to some chance encounter at an airport with a reporter no one has probably heard of before. Who knows, might even have been a look alike, a guy who occasionally was mistaken for Ayers and so thought it would be fun to egg someone on the next time it happened.
Also why would Ayers talk about “splitting royalties” with the reporter if she could prove it? He could have proved it himself easily enough just by coming out and saying so at a press conference or what have you. None of this makes sense. He wanted to help Obama in order to advance his agenda and writing that book helped to advance Obama which played into his overall agenda. In other words, this isn’t a man motivated by money, this is a man obsessed with changing America, with weakening America. Here he sounds bitter about not having his name on the book, not getting royalties, and that seems so out of character for him, especially since the book helped to achieve everything he could have hoped for and more.
Her picture of Ayers.
This story reminds me of Bob Woodward’s death bed interview with CIA Chief Bill Casey...
