President Biden’s former ghostwriter, who become a key figure in Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents, was spotted on the street in New York City shortly after Hur testified before Congress. In photos first reported by New York Post and obtained by Fox News Digital, Biden ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer was seen walking the streets of Manhattan’s Upper West Side wearing sneakers, a button-down shirt, and jacket alongside an unidentified woman around 7 p.m. Tuesday night. The pair dined at Bustan NYC on Amsterdam Ave before returning home around 8:15 p.m., according to the Post. Zwonitzer’s...

Dr. Gal Luft, the Israeli whistleblower who has been on the run since April, detailed his bribery allegations against the Biden family in an extraordinary new video obtained by the New York Post. As American Greatness previously reported, Luft was arrested on weapon trafficking and other charges in Cyprus last February and disappeared after he was let out on bail. After his arrest, the former Israeli army officer tweeted that the Biden administration was out to “bury” him.The Biden Department of Justice had Luft, the founder and executive director of the Washington-based Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS),...

President Trump's former ghostwriter says writing "The Art of the Deal" is the biggest regret of his life and wishes the 1987 bestseller "weren't even in print." "I knew this was a bad guy when I did the book," Tony Schwartz told CBS News chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett for this week's episode of "The Takeout" podcast. The pair sat down for lunch at New York's ViceVersa restaurant. "Trump is not only willing to lie, but he doesn't get bothered by it, doesn't feel guilty about it, isn't preoccupied by it," Schwartz said. "There's an emptiness inside Trump. There's an...

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh, speaking at a discussion with all the service chiefs before the Council on Foreign Relations in New York, told the crowd that ISIS “looked an awful lot like something much more than a terrorist group.” August 2014, the United States looked at ISIS only as a terrorist group and developed a military strategy to take on ISIS as a terrorist group. The Obama Regime--or its Ghost writer Ben Rhodes--mistakenly called ISIS the JV squad, ignoring the possibility that the group was developing an infrastructure and a government. Obama advisors also failed to...

Chelsea Clinton may be, like her mother, a little hard to pin down as a personality, but three things seem inarguable after reading that email: She has a big heart, she writes an excellent policy paper and she is verbose. The voice you hear there addressing “Mom” and “Dad” — both wonky and sweet, impassioned and didactic, a little self-conscious — is pretty much the same one we hear in her new book for children, “It’s Your World.” It’s clear that she indeed wrote it herself, all 400 or so earnest, methodically compiled pages. The book is meant to help...

Columba Bush, the wife of expected Republican presidential contender Jeb Bush, continued to increase her public profile this week with an op-ed on domestic violence in Iowa's biggest newspaper. Her Des Moines Register op-ed asked readers to offer their support for the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence, where Bush writes she spent "quality time" on Friday. "It was inspiring to learn from our domestic violence leaders about the transforming process that Iowa implemented to maximize limited financial resources while creating a regional-based comprehensive service delivery program for domestic violence survivors and their children," she wrote.

The world waits for Hillary Clinton’s new book, “Hard Choices,” on June 10th. I know I have it all queued up on amazon.com. But Clinton’s hardest choice may start at home: will she give her ghost writer a credit this time? I wrote about a year ago that Edward “Ted” Widmer, a long time Hillary associate, was actually writing “Hard Choices.” Widmer, 51, is a Harvard graduate who wrote for the Harvard Lampoon. He has a long association with Brown University, where he was the Director of the John Carter Brown Library. At least that’s where used to be. Widmer now...

Reagan and Gingrich (from 1980) In his 1980 debate with President Carter, Ronald Reagan famously said: "...I think when you make that decision, it might be well if you would ask yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago? Is it easier for you to go and buy things in the stores than it was four years ago? Is there more or less unemployment in the country than there was four years ago? Is America as respected throughout the world as it was? Do you feel that our security is as safe, that we're as strong as...

On November 16, 1990, Barack Obama, then president of the Harvard Law Review, published a letter in the Harvard Law Record, an independent Harvard Law School newspaper, championing affirmative action. Although a paragraph from this letter was excerpted in David Remnick's biography of Obama, The Bridge, I had not seen the letter in its entirety before this week. Not surprisingly, it confirms everything I know about Barack Obama, the writer and thinker. Obama was prompted to write by an earlier letter from a Mr. Jim Chen that criticized Harvard Law Review's affirmative action policies. Specifically, Chen had argued that affirmative...

About six weeks after reading Dreams, I ordered a copy of Ayers’s 2001 memoir Fugitive Days and started reading. The stylistic parallels were stunning. Is this a move to grab the influential under-12 demographic in the midterms? Barack Obama, New York Times bestselling author and President of the United States, is finally fulfilling the terms of his three-book, $1.9 million deal with Random House with the forthcoming release of the children's book Of Thee I Sing: A Letter To My Daughters. Obama's earlier books include the nonfiction hits Dreams From My Father and The Audacity of Hope. According to its publisher, the book (illustrated by Loren Long) will be "a moving tribute to thirteen groundbreaking Americans and the ideals that have shaped our nation."

STATESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - A man who was with about a dozen people who were looking for a legendary "ghost train" in Iredell County was hit by a locomotive and killed early Friday morning. The incident happened on a train trestle at 2:45 a.m. near the 900 block of Buffalo Shoals Road. Robin Chapman, a spokesperson for Norfolk-Southern Railroad, said the eastbound train consisted of three locomotives and no freight cars. The train was rounding a curve and approaching a trestle over Boston Creek just prior to Buffalo Shoals Road when it struck a man on the trestle, Chapman said.

I almost feel bad for Mitt Romney. He's obviously a smart guy, and when he was governor of Massachusetts he was pretty much the technocratic kind of governor the voters expected -- not pushing conservative social issues too far, creating a health-care reform that's a lot like what the Obama plan ended up looking like. But since he wants to be president, he has to get past a Republican primary electorate that really doesn't care about smarts and technocratic skill. Identity politics is king in the GOP, and Mitt just doesn't have an identity he can hang his hat on....

Mitt Romney, potential future GOP candidate for president, has branded Barack Obama for having a low-level of experience, failing to get jobs back for the US, and for emboldening terrorist states NKorea and Iran. At a sit-down with Sean Hannity to promote his new book, No Apology: The Case for American Greatness, Romney was appreciably blunt about his contemptuous opinion of Obama's performance (or lack thereof) on his first year on the job. Essentially charging that Obama failed on the most important duties of a president—economic and foreign policy—Romney seemed to also be positioning himself at the head of a...

Last Friday we posted an article on these pages asserting Bill Ayers' authorship of President Barack Obama's 'Dreams From My Father,' based on claims made by Obama biographer Christopher Andersen. It is possible that we have now gotten direct confirmation of this from Bill Ayers himself. Anne Leary of Back Yard Conservative was passing through Washington, DC's Reagan National Airport yesterday, and was surprised to come across Bill Ayers at Starbucks: "scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wire rims, heading to order."

In a chance meeting with conservative blogger Anne Leary, Bill Ayers makes a stunning claim that he wrote--not just edited--President Barack Obama's autobiography, Dreams from my Father." Wow. He makes this claim to a stranger who approaches him in Reagan National Airport. Can you believe anything this man says? Or, should I say, either man?
