There I was, sitting in Reagan National Monday morning, sipping a Starbucks by the United counter before going through security. I had a little time, so I was browsing through the news. That's when I saw Bill Ayers, an instant blight. Scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wirerims, heading to order. I gathered my things, got my camera ready, and snapped a shot right when he got his coffee.
He gave me an uneasy cheesy smile when he realized I was taking his picture.
I asked--what are you doing in D.C. Mr. Ayers?
[He said] he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education--that's what I do, education--you shouldn't believe everything you hear about me, you know nothing about me.
Then, unprompted he said--I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said--Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He's about my height, short. He went on to say--and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again--I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said--I wrote it.

Then, unprompted he said–I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said–Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He’s about my height, short. He went on to say–and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again–I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said–I wrote it. I said–why would I believe you, you’re a liar.
He had no answer to that. Just looked at me. Then he turned and walked off, and said again his bit about my proving it and splitting the proceeds.
When I saw “No Dream” I figured it would be him saying he didn’t write it. I would have titled it “Bill Ayers: Yes Dream”.
Be interesting to see if this goes anywhere. If he really did write it, then yes, it’s another Obama marketing ploy that makes suckers out of easily-duped Americans.
And that Ayers is more to the Usurper than some guy down the street.
This is waaaaay tooooo easy a question.
This article seems pretty insipid, but there’s a writer at Worldnetdaily who has already scientifically proven that Ayers wrote “Dreams From My Father” and that other philologists can prove it too but want to keep their day jobs, if you know what I mean.
These people feel like they're invincible. And it's going to be their downfall.
I remember that era, Mr. Ayers. People died because of your actions, including your girlfriend. More would have if you had been more successful. And yet you have the gall to teach the teachers of our young. I won’t forget your murderous intent, your shameful acts, your contemptible lies and evasions.
As for our President, the verdict is still out. But Barack Obama called Bill Ayers friend and colleague for years. That in itself makes a damning statement.
If they are splitting royalties...shouldnt that be easy to confirm?

I couldn’t follow the conversation as reported on the blog. It is unclear if Ayers is ‘kidding’.
With a mixed group of friends..I mentioned Palin’s book being number one. One chimed in”it was ghost writer”..another chimed in..all the political books are ghosted. Even Kennedy’s. Then I said..there is one that wasn’t. There was silence. I said Barack’s. He wrote his. Silence.
Writers have egos. King makers have immense egos. The man must be seething when Obama takes credit for his thoughts, then throws the king maker under the bus.
Ayers, like Obama, has an enormous ego. I bet it must frost him that Obama is getting credit—and royalties—from his (Ayers) work.

It's possibly the best news we could have - OBAMA MIGHT NOT BE A CRAZY RADICAL like Bill Ayers.

If this is TRUE, then it’s a report from “UNDER THE BUS”! Guess he’s on the outs with the Bammys!
I thought it was revealing that in another piece of writing by Bill Ayers in which he discussed his Hyde Park neighborhood, which is in Chicago near the Univeristy of Chicago campus, that when he described his various neighbors in print Ayers identified Barack Obama as “a writer.” Not as an attorney, not as a community activist or organizer, not as a legislator or a politician, but as “a writer.”
It seemed like Ayers was trying to perpetuate a myth or advance a fraud at that time also.
I love people watching at Reagan National - over the years I have met Sergant Shriver, Col. Sanders, Linda Byrd Johnson, Tony Snow (he used to live in my neighborhood)and others (BTW Tony Snow and Col Sanders are nice people). Most recently spotted Garrison Keillor (Prarie Home Companion) at the TGIF Resturant. When I told my wife who the guy was she didn’t believe me, so we spooled his image up on the I-Phone. Warning folks, Garrison has not aged well (online photos are at least 10 years old). He sports a really bad dye job on his hair and looks like some guy from the mission. My wife wouldn’t let me start a conversation so we just made jokes about being above average. If it had been Bill Ayers, I would have likely whispered to him that their was a bomb on his plane, just to see if he would report it. Can you imagine the LEO taking a bomb warning from Bill Ayers? That would make for a real nice headline. If I was arrested I would just deny it and ask whether you should believe a guy with no record or one with one with regards to bombs. Would make real good reality TV type story.
Communists and criminals always like to maintain a veneer of “plausible deniability” for later use.

Ayers is a little nobody - a trust fund baby - I doubt his big fat ego could handle the praise Obama was getting for HIS book. He's a creepy little man/boy...
Turns out some of the stuff in the book - memories - never happened to Obama. There's holes in Obama's history now... holes we need to understand. Worst case? Mole. Best case - weak but decent man. It's gonna get interesting.

I believe it was a long time before it was revealed that John F. Kennedy didn’t wrote ‘Profiles in Courage’. How do you take credit for other people’s work? You really have to be a low life to do it without batting an eye lash.
Kennedy, Obama, two people who didn’t write the books that helped create a false image of them, that the people bought off on.
No character... just sleazy pretenders at least in one aspect of their public persona.

as much as i believe its true and i read the articles on here comparing Ayers work with Dreams,how can i just accept as fact this occurred?
How can i believe he would say this and cast a shadow over the man he helped put in the White House?

That’s the way he is. I bet it kills him not to get any credit for authorship.
So isn’t this huge breaking news? A terrorist wrote his book? So he LIED when he said Ayers was just a neighbor down the street? If this is true that he admitted writing the book then this is a really, really big story.

He is whomever and whatever he needs to be at any given moment. He is all things to everyone, but he is really nothing. He just speaks his garbage then lets the media define him. So if you really want to know who Barak Hussein Obama is, just look at whatever the media cover up about him, that will be who he is.

I find it hard to believe that Ayers is not smart enough to realize that he himself has the power to “prove it”.
What I find hard to believe is that Ayers apparently feels like he needs someone else to help him prove it.
Our individual writing style is very much like a fingerprint, and almost just as unique.
All Ayers would have to do is claim authorship, and file suit for breach of contract based on whatever royalties Obama has failed to pay him for his work.
Did Ayers do it as a favor? Did Obama pay him for doing it? I guess if we want to find out, we will just have to convince Obama to throw Ayers back under the bus a little bit more.
