He said] he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education--that's what I do, education--you shouldn't believe everything you hear about me, you know nothing about me. Then, unprompted he said--I wrote Dreams From My Father. Please tell me that this isn't all the claim that Bill Ayers wrote the book is based on. I want to believe, but this story is crap.

Even if we can assume that Ayers was pulling Leary’s leg, a distinct possibility that she, herself, addressed in the blog, I cannot believe that members of “Team Obama” can be too pleased that Bill Ayers broke his silence even to joke about the subject. In doing so, he broke the “Code of Silence.”
