Get a hit drama in here, stat!
Just a couple weeks into the fall television season, the prognosis is not looking good for NBC. To wit:

Wonderful. Now Comcast wants to buy in. Two-fer.
Good riddance! About time the Nothing But Barack Channel go down in flames
Bring back “Chuck”.
What is “NBC”?
Chuck is supposed to come back after the Olympics.
The comments are very odd. Most of them seem to be ads for weight loss products, make money quick schemes, and other things unrelated to the article.
Life getting canceled was the last straw for me even though I do enjoy Chuck. Heroes became unwatchable and they spent too little time cultivating Life and a few other quality shows and instead promoted the hell out of tired retreads and movie actors coming back to TV...add the cost for Leno and they snuffed out what was really a show I could enjoy.
Their fault...not mine.
They should have kept it and ditched Leno.
Have you seen the stories over the past few days about GE selling NBC/U to Comcast? Looks like it will happen.

Hopefully. And guess who's killing it?

I am more in the Dallas59 mode. I have never seen any of those shows. I am watching the Steeler getting up on the Chargers right now, but I almost never watch networks except for sports.
What is NBC?

Notre Dame Broadcasting Company. With extremely close games I think the Irish have saved the organization.
That would be Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical.
I would disagree that Leno is such a disaster at 10 for NBC. His ratings (5-6 million a night) are about what the 10 PM hour was doing for NBC last year with its awful dramas, which cost twice what the Leno show does. It was a sign of desperation for NBC, but Leno is profitable even at those crappy numbers.
What I want to know is how they can continue to keep MSNBC running with its local-cable-access-level ratings.
Chuck and Friday Night Lights. They’re both due in the spring. Chuck is produced by another company, maybe Warner Brothers. I wouldn’t mind seeing it out of NBC’s hands and on another station where it might thrive.
Ah, a WMD (weapon of mass disinformation)...
>>>What is NBC?
An once watchable TV network than now airs Nothing But Crap.
I thought it died when Cheers ended
I think they keep MS-NBC running along with CNBC because those cable slots are valuable. If you could just come up with programing anyone wanted to watch, you have access to customers.
Just goes to show that prayers really are answered!
SNL did the LAMEST of all ‘impressions’ (if you want to call it that) of Zero I’ve EVER seen. It was pathetic! They just drug some guy in who ever-so-slightly resembles him and didn’t even go with his speech pattern. It was all from the libtard perspective of what he ‘hasn’t done for them’.
NBC dead?
Not dead enough.
Yeah, if NBC folds, let it be after football season. After that, it can die a quick deserved death.

I wish Brandon Tartikoff was still alive. He was behind the NBC miracle back in the 1980s with shows like “Cosby,” “Family Ties, “A-Team,” etc.
Do I care? I rarely turn the tube on anymore, and gave up ALL regular teeheevee programming sometime around 2003.
They used to own Thursday night.
SVU is especially bad, I turned it off after 15 minutes, before I started rootin' for the bad guy.

President Obama and General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt
A damn shame actually. The finest drama of the ‘80s (St. Elsewhere) and the best comedy of the ‘90s (Seinfeld) were their trademarks.
Bring back Earl dummy!
Really? Friday Night Lights is coming back? Nice! I enjoyed that show.
National Barack Channel.
You are so right on too many good choices. We have:
1. Myth Busters, new season this week on Discovery.
2. Dirty Jobs, new season this week on Discovery.
3. Lock n Load, on the History Channel.
4. The 1st 48, on A&E though I admit I am tiring of.
Add in FNC, sports and a movie now and then and who has time for the networks.
Two more seasons guaranteed. It’ll start airing on DirecTV on Oct. 28 and come to NBC in the spring. I think it’s 13 episodes a season.
Do I get to vote? Put me down for a "OH, HELL YEAH!"
Many thanks.
So did my mistress. What are you saying?
NBC has explicitly hitched its wagon to the empty suit that is Pres__ent in the White House, and, suffer from the revulsion of its relationship.
NBC isn’t dead, I’m watching it right now. Sunday night is the only time I watch it.
hell he’s on tv so much it’s just logical
I'm with you. I just discovered the other day that it had been canceled and TBS was going to pick it up but they balked at the last minute. Gonna miss Joy, Randy, and Crab Man. Not high brow humor, but funny.

Yea, thats pretty much what I got out of it too.
Not as bad as the first Law and Order show of the season (Dick Cheney, war criminal).
While I cannot stand NBC, I do love “The Office”. Maybe NBC will sell their few hit programs off.
I am vastly annoyed with NBC. They killed “Life,” one of the best new shows in years. They deserve to circle the drain.
