Derrion Albert, 16, Was Killed In Thursday Attack Caught On Tape
....Silvonus Shannon, 19; Eric Carson, 16; Eugene Riley, 18; and Eugene Bailey, 18, allegedly kicked and punched Derrion, an innocent bystander in a fight between two groups of students near the South Side school Thursday afternoon, according to Cook County prosecutors...
The assault, which was captured on videotape, was not gang-related but arose from a disagreement between students who live in Altgeld Gardens and another group who live in an area known as the "Ville," according to Assistant Cook County State's Attorney Jodi Peterson...

Really worked out well, didn't it.
(ahem) Boys will be boys.
Yeah...we have a Chicago “gang” in the Whitehouse...
Wonder if he will play this video for the Olyimpic Committee when he asks them to bring the games to “his” Chicago.”
The one positive I was hoping to come from 0bama’s election came from Bill Cosby saying that the time for excuses had ended and if 0bama could be president, it was time to study and work hard. But you can’t erase decades of moral decay in 8 months.
Nor did his ‘talk to the school children’ inspire these kids.
Bummer should go back to the Gardens and give them a stern talking to.
Nah, he’ll just have a beer with them.
18 and 19 year old kill a 16 year old ...its not about gangs but 2 factions were involved. what kind of reporting is that...very sad.
sad.
Bill Cosby has now blown any credibility he held by coming out and claiming that the town hall meetings against Obamacare are racist.
all looked like obama voters to me.
I didn’t hear about that. Too bad, his credibility is gone.
“Nah, hell just have a beer with them.”
And a little pot. Want them kids to have the same opportunities he did.
That is so sad. Look at how the dimwits by their lies and rules have made these animals.
i don't know how or why any parent continues to send his/her child(ren) to that... nothing is worth it...
Shortly after Jimmah Carter came out with his “race card” Cosby came out supporting what Carter claimed.
Try them all as adults and see they get at least 60 years without parole if not life.
Future ACORN staff.
I believe you are right. This is the place where a woman spearheaded the asbestos removal, and later the credit was all taken by the Nefarious One.
If only Acorn hadn’t been cut off at the knees by those nasty conservatives, this whole incident could have been avoided through their youth outreach programs (sorry, just getting a head of the spin).
Cosby seems manic depressive to me
Here's a link to the story. He really is a low-life.
I’m proud to say that I’ve made it through 43 years of life without punching and kicking anyone to death.

Could be, considering what the man’s been through.
Community crimes must not be an issue in their decision. If it were, no way Atlanta would have made the cut.
Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm,
Barrack Hussein Obama

“Community crimes must not be an issue in their decision. If it were, no way Atlanta would have made the cut. “
I will say, that for about three weeks, Atlanta was a dream city, with people in a cheery mood, virtually no local crime, and traffic at early 1950’s levels. Too bad it couldn’t say that way...
Yep, O’bozo’s old community organizing on the southside of Chicago. They’re such happy campers there they kill each other off at the rate of 32 a month.
Just what we all want in organized little communities in our town that can hold sway over our government entities by gangland tactics.
Well, no guns were used. See? Progress! (and, I don’t mean to belittle the horror of this crime).
Well...uhhh...maybe not...looking at the Chicago Fox website, it looks like the usual Afganistan-level of shootings this weekend. Apparently, SOME few “bad apples” haven’t heard that it’s illegal to have a gun there...
What experience of his are we supposed to pity?
If you mean his son’s murder, this behavior isn’t new. Bill has gone unprovoked on embarrassing rants before.
The place was shoddily built with foundation and gov. funds, and was not maintained. A huge number of units were empty and falling down. It was a horrible slum, this "affordable housing" although less than 10 years old. Valerie Jarrett handled the building and management if I am not mistaken. The old media ignored the story, which was of a typical Chicago thuggery scam built on grand promises to take care of the needy, and millions pocketed by the leaders.
It was worthy of Zimbabwe.

You have.
"..Loretta Augustine-Herron, who worked closely with Obama at Altgeld Gardens, said she could see his future being shaped by his work at Altgeld. "I always knew he was going to be president," she said. It was here, she said, that Obama learned firsthand how "you must be one of the power brokers if you want to effect change."
For all its impact on Obama, Altgeld Gardens today seems far from the kind of success story politicians like to tout.
Dozens of buildings are boarded up, with fences surrounding much of the property. The roads are a potholed mess. Blinking lights illuminate a series of towers where police have mounted cameras..."
Obama is through slumming. He used the ghetto and left.
This community does not look well organized.
I guess these are the results Ayers and 0bama achieved by spending $100 million to improve Chicago public schools.
If found guilty in a court of law, death by 2x4 sounds more appropriate..
Chicago or Soweto?
For all the talk about youth gun violence, this really highlights the fact that feral humans will kill eachother with whatever is handy.
“Thanks for posting.

The “One” cleaned up Altgeld Gardens in his community organizing days and then moved on to greener pastures. However, when he left, Whites, Hispanics, and Asians moved in and completely took over the “Gardens” which accounts for the miserable living conditions and homicides happening there.
Anyway, what the hell. Mahalo
And over which roach-ridden project they live in, to boot. It’s like the gangs, I’ll never understand how they come to the conclusion that which derelict ghetto you’re from is worth killing over. Who cares, you’re from the ghetto, that should be your first concern—to get out of it. But probably it’s a mercy the gang types don’t get out so they can keep it (their murder, mayhem and animalistic behavior) in the “hood”. I have no faith in gang types ever being anything but what they are already in their “territory”. I think I’d slit my wrists if al I had to care about was which ghetto I lived in.
But Derrion Albert was an innocent bystander, not a feral human. We can't forget about the mass of innocents who are caught in the clutches of the inner city culture of violence and squalor.
CORRUPTION: Government Housing Programs

Reinstate the DRAFT. Put these thugs in the military for a min of 10 years on the front lines.
On edit: Feral humans killing each other and whoever happens to be near by.
WRONG. Do NOT put these animals with our honorable sons and daughters (husbands, wives, dads and moms) serving their country. These animals only deserve incarceration, whether in a razor wire topped compound or established prisons.
For generations we have poured money and advantage on these people and where has it led? When you appease or subsidize the violent, what do you get? More violence.
