Inside the Mind of the Left: a blogger thinks he understands us. . .
Wet Machine, a liberal blog ^ | 9/11/09 | Harold Feld

Posted on 09/11/2009 3:31:32 PM PDT by Salgak

Popping up on Facebook tonight, was an acquaintance flogging his blog. What was fascinating was what the liberals and netroots seem to think about how we on the Right do business.

Consider it, in many ways, a guided tour through a Leftie's mindset. Included is the assumption that the Left can organize via social networks, but apparentely we cannot.

As an EXTRA bonus, he even throws up a link to a group of blogs fighting "climate change"

It shows me, how much has changed, and how far Blue America has gone from those of us in Red America.

And what's really sad, is that this is a very intelligent friend. . .and it's obvious we don't even think on the same PLANET anymore. . . . If this is a typical intelligent Obama supporter. . .I fear for the future. . .

Don’t fear the future, take control of it. American people are waking up to what’s happening and they are saying “It ain’t happening.”

I totally agree.

They excuse corruption and even defend the corrupt, Charlie Rangel anyone? Meanwhile they want to punish Joe Wilson for yelling a word. Amazing.

They excuse ACORN and every other corrupt organization while wanting to destroy the Boy Scouts and such.

The left is pro-corruption. Everything is going to be tainted with that corruption if they get their way. Then it can be held over heads for the left to get things done.

Astounding! ( Yes, I read his screed... )

He actually thinks we have some sort of coordinated plan?

My God, I've been on the Right since Goldwater, and we're like herding cats, or trying to put toothpaste back in the tube.

I need Robert Crumb's cartoon of a scruffy lookin' dude trucking down the street- the balloon over his head says,

"Dis is a system?"

No, what I fear is that all the good people who have fallen for this delusion, and are convinced that WE are the misguided ones. . . .are beyond saving. We think so very differently, there’s no common ground.

It’s a crying shame and a waste: I’d love to have a man like Harold on **our** side, fighting the good fight. . . I’ve known him for years, and realize that now, I don’t know him at all. . .

“Indeed, one of the reasons there was so little initial defense of Van Jones in progressive circles was because most of us were unaware of the attack until the Van Jone’s “resignation.” “

HAHAHAHAHA!! Thank your media buddies. Bet you didn’t know about ACORN helping out pimps and hos with the kiddie hookers either, huh?

The left would eat their own children if it helped their liberal agenda. They will automatically support anything a democrat proposes and automatically reject anything that comes from a republican. They would protest a war under a republican president and stop protesting the day a democrat becomes president. Life, death and freedom are nothing more then tools to be used for politics. They would be in the streets protesting against government heath care if the president proposing it had an R in front of his name.

This cracked me up:

“Why Does This Work So Well Against Democrats and Not Republicans?”

Because....Republicans generally have fewer gory/kinky/deadly/evil skeletons in their closets?

Just a wild assed guess.

It’s a shame to loose a good friend but it happens. Yes, many good people have fallen for the lefts lies. Same thing happened during the Civil War but it didn’t do them any good. History repeats itself some times. Hang in there, we ain’t loosing this one. We can’t.

The ideology itself is corrupt.

Of course he thinks there is a coordinated plan. He cannot concieve of there not being a plan. The left has a unified coordinated plan, so everyone must work the same way they do.

They have no imagination either. The ones with imagination have no brains (Hollywierd).

I know we can’t. It doesn’t stop me from mourning a friend who is lost, and from all the signs, apparently beyond redemption.

In many ways, we’re fighting for him, his family, and his children. We fight for their right to feel that way. What is truly sad, is that they wouldn’t, they’d only make us fight to be like them. . . .

He imagines there must be a plan because, like the economy, he thinks all things human need management by the right people.

The idea of a convergence of interests producing the optimal effect is beyond him and most of the left.

BTW, I like to think they are called "the left" (yes, I know about the seating arrangement in parliament)because after all that's Right has been removed, they are what's left.

You're right, but I think this guy should listen to his Inner Loon, and attribute it to Selling our Souls to the Debbil...

Yep. The left are sheep. They follow where they are led. They will turn on a dime if the leader does and deny there was ever anything different.

Skimmed over the dim Dem’s blog, too. My favorite: “Democrats, by contrast, believe that the key to staying in power is to play to the hypothetical middle — which is defined as avoiding controversy or “extreme” positions.” Not necessarily true, but if it were, it’d just be another way of saying that Democrats lack any guiding principles, and simply seek political power.

You are so right! It is so interesting to protest with such individualists and people who stand on their own.

And for all these individuals to gather is absolutely impressive.
