Elizabeth Edwards Expects DNA Test for Hubby's Alleged Love Child
NBC ^ | Thu, Aug 20, 2009

"My expectation is that, at some point, something happens," Elizabeth said

The wife of philandering former Sen. John Edwards said she expects a paternity test will take place soon to determine the father of the 18-month-old child of her hubby's former mistress.

In an interview on CNN's "Larry King Live," Elizabeth Edwards confronted rumors that her cheating husband was set to claim paternity of little Frances, his alleged love child with ex-mistress Rielle Hunter.

When asked about testing the paternity of the baby, Edwards said her "expectation is that, at some point, something happens. And I hope for the sake of this child that it happens, you know, in a quiet way."

Edwards, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2007, has said in the past she has seen a picture of the baby girl but had "no idea" whether her husband is the father of Hunter's child.

A former boss of mine has a very cute little boy. I remarked to him that Edwards’ little boy is very appealing. He replied, “Well, his father’s a cute little boy, too.” I thought that was funny.

Geez, now you got me feeling sorry for her, and believe me, nobody merits my sympathy less than EE.

She had to have always known. Saying otherwise is implying that Hunter is a whore. I mean, he was busted when he went to see her and the baby, for crying out loud.

“... And I hope for the sake of this child that it happens, you know, in a quiet way.”

For the sake of the child?! In a quiet way?! Mrs. Edwards wrote a damn book on the subject and pitched it on the major networks.

“I’ve seen a picture of the baby. I have no idea. It doesn’t look like my children but I don’t have any idea,” Edwards told Winfrey.

She's dying and bitter. I give her a pass. At this point, I feel sorry for her. She is going to have a nasty ending with cancer and more recently they have discovered it spread to her bone.

I've had relatives die of bone cancer. It's horrible. You just wait till it totally takes over if it is not a limb that can be amputated. My relatives had the bone cancer where amputation was not possible.

She and her husband milked her cancer for political gain and she knew all along that he had an affair, she went along with the charade. She wanted power as much as he did. She's despicable.

I wouldn’t wish caner on anyone, regardless of their politics. I know, liberals would not extend the same courtesy but that doesn’t mean I need to echo their coldness. I will not endorse liberal lack of empathy.

Forget her politics and just view her as a human being.

This is an opportunity for genuine conservative Christians to show HOW they are different and ideally WHY they are different than godless liberals who are very cold hearted people.

It came back during the last campaign...she was campaigning with him after she learned it had come back...before the news of the other woman broke. She didn’t make it 5 years.

I'm not it wishing on her, I'm just appalled that she, along with her husband, used it for personal gain.

She is still whoring the media and those twats are engaging her. No pity here. Writing books and being a professional victim when she was playing right along is disgusting. Straight from Hillary's playbook.

The Edwards’ have never been asked or volunteered that information. But anyone who decides at age 49 to get pregnant will find out from a fertility doctor that IVF is in reality their only option. Liz gave birth at age 49 and again at age 50 or 51.

I also have wondered of all those hormones and drugs she took to support a pregancy in her late years led to her cancer. Another kick in the butt given the actions of her horndog husband.

Just listening to Rivera on O'Reilly and he's saying Edwards is going to get indicted and convicted for all sorts of stuff.

I doubt he'll be spending many nights at home in the near future.

Wow, maybe then Riellle and Liz can become friends and live together to raise their sibling kids together, lol.

Maybe there's more going on here than meets the eye ~ "sister wives" perhaps, or just a different sort of family.

No doubt the tabloids will keep us advised.
