The torture of a 17-year-old in Iran
Salon.com ^ | 6/23/09 | Mike Madden

A teenager's story, with graphic photos, of abuse at the hands of Iran's religious paramilitaries, the Basij

Editor's note: Salon has obtained an e-mail, written in Farsi, circulating among Iranian American activists that tells the story of a 17-year-old boy who says he was tortured by government agents in Tehran.

[snip]

"All of a sudden agents in black uniforms and helmets carrying batons broke the door and entered. We tried to hide behind the big trash bin at the end of the parking but one of them saw us, whistled and informed the rest of them who were just leaving the parking. It was just baton strikes all over my body after that, and we were transferred to the minus 4 level of Ministry of Intelligence building. There were a lot of riot police in black uniforms like those on the streets there. They were mostly non-Farsi speakers, and those who spoke Farsi kept telling us they could kill us right away and no one would ever know, they were also insulting us with very bad words."

"One of them asked me if Mr. Khatami would come save us, while they were breaking my fingers and cutting the finger webs. Although I swore a thousand times that I had not voted and had never participated in any demonstration, they didn't care and just kept beating me hard. I fainted once or twice but there were some of us who fainted every time their bones were broken, and as soon as they gained their consciousness, the riot police started beating them again. I was trying to contract my muscles to avoid further bone fracture."

The regime in Tehran is evil. I hope the Iranian people can take their country back, somehow. I wish my country would do more to help them.

Those descendants of Ishmael certainly are a hairy lot.

Along with a few other less innocuous tendencies.

This is obviously much worse than water-boarding or panties on the head, but the lefties might debate that.

I wish someone in the White House would smash this article into you know who’s face when he gets back from his golf expedition.

“somehow. I wish my country would do more to help them. “

Dream on. Our nightmare has just started. The Fraud and Impostor in the White House, his minions in Congress and his master George Soros have just begun here. My guess is soon we too will be facing the same terrors which are afflicting the Iranian people.

Or the basest of evil people or the worst of traitors could possibly sit in the Oval Office without doing much more much quicker than he has.

On the other hand, Bush I, salivating after potential foreign profits, carried on business as usual after Tienanmen Square with the butchers from Peking.

America needs a rebirth of its founding principles and making a profit on other people's misery, or electing a socialist demagogue isn't a part of them.

President Barak Obama is horribly on the wrong side of history. How can he be excused for his negligence in not helping those innocent people in their struggle against treacherous tyranny? He will be hated for it, and hated forever. Iranians are not America’s enemy. The evil regime that rules them is our enemy.

I’m not sure Iranians are descendants of Ishmael. They are not Arabs.

Dear leader Zer0 would show compassion for the Islamists. I would prefer to send them to search for Virginians via Mossy 500.

Jimmy Carter, the 2nd Worst President in US history, went out of his way to create this evil regime from our close ally, the Shah’s Iran.

I will let you guess who the #1 Worst President is.....

Hardly likely - Americans are armed. Those Persians are not.

I disagree. Since when has any democrat been held accountable for anything?

Obama could be filmed having sex with little boys and he'd get a pass.

Join Together

When you here this sound a-comin, Hear the drummers drumming, I want you to join together with the band,
We dont move in any ticular direction, And we dont make no collections, I want you to join together with the band.

Do you really think I care, What you read or what you wear, I want you to join together with the band,
Theres a million ways to laugh, And every ones a path, Come on and join together with the band.

Everybody join together, I want you to join together, Come on and join together with the band,
We need you to join together, come on and join together, Come on and join together with the band.

You dont have to play, You can follow or lead the way, I want you to join together with the band,
We dont know where were going, But the seasons right for knowing, I want you to join together with the band.

Its the singer not the song, That makes the music move along, I want you to join together with the band,
This is the biggest band you'll find, Its as deep as it is wide, Come on and join together with the band,
Hey hey hey hey hey hey, well everybody come on.

Come on and join, join together with the band,
We need you to join together, everybody come on, Hey hey hey, join together with the band.

How can our country not join the battle against tyranny along side the the people in the streets of Tehran? Do we have that much a coward as President?
