Mitchell's tied to an international bribery scandal:

You've seen it in all the papers and on TV, right?

Tied to? The article made him out to be a witness in a trial. Is there more to this story?

Thank you. Did not know.

Nachum, article says Mitchell was on the Board of this company. Buried of course.

Speaking of Mitchell, he'd be just about the last guy about whom I'd be surprised at his involvement in a financial scandal.

As to Mitchell's presence on boards of companies, I believe he was at one time not that long ago the Chairman of the Board of The Disney Company (huge multimedia conglomerate). He has been on the boards of several other major ones.

It’s OK to be on boards, and to make a lot of money. If Mitchell is as honest as the day is long, he’s still pro-Arab and a lousy choice for an unbiased negotiator.

It's OK to be on boards, and to make a lot of money.

In Mitchell's case, there's an ideological contradiction between sitting on boards of large corporations, and at the same time making large contributions to 'Rat causes which promote policies antithetical to a thriving private sector economy.

If Mitchell is as honest as the day is long...

Mitchell was briefly a federal judge (appointed by Carter). Would you want a judge of Mitchell's "integrity" presiding over a case in which you were a party or an attorney for one of the parties? 'Nuff said.

...he's still pro-Arab and a lousy choice for an unbiased negotiator.

Amen!

Looks like a snub, in response to Obama’s earlier snub.
