Have you noticed how the creation rationalizers on this site claim to be conservative yet employ the tools of the left

I've noticed that people calling themselves Christian deny the Creator by employing the tools of the left, too. What a coincidence.

The latter was the one I was referring to.. I’ve been reading The One Great Commandment throughout the year (trying not to bend it up)

“I’ve noticed that people calling themselves Christian deny the Creator by employing the tools of the left, too.”

I haven’t noticed that. Perhaps you can shed some light on the topic by sharing your observations.

Forest, meet tree. Tree, forest.

You yourself say you’re Christian, and yet mock “creation rationalizers.” Your very language is a construct of the left. I take it that you do not find creation, and by logical extension the Creator, to be rational.

Ah, I see. I am a Christian, but you deny my Christianity because I do not accept the biblical account of creation. When I express dissent, you call that leftist.

In summation, you don’t accept what I am because I don’t fit your tortured mold, and you find my dissent of your position intolerable. Yep—you’re a leftie! How does that Che beret feel?

It's a form of fascism.

I've admonished the admins about it, but they do nothing. So it seems we are stuck with it and labeled by the DUmmies as "dangerous" because of it.

If you don't believe as they do in the literacy of the Bible, then you are A)a liberal, B) a product of liberal public schools, C)not a Christian.

Compare this to how Hitler used the same tactics to promote his "Master Race". If you are not pure Aryan, you are A)a Jew, B)a mongrel race, C)should be purged.

There is no tolerance of any viewpoint other than their own.

Anyone who doesn’t subscribe to pure creationism is not a christian, I suppose. (Shrugs)

Creation is not limited to Genesis in the Bible. It’s there, from the first to the last, beginning to end, Alpha to Omega. When you attack those who fully accept God’s Word, the same God’s Word that you purport to accept but only in parcels, and call that a “tortured mold,” I think it’s self evident just who is who here, Bucky. You’ve set yourself, and in turn “science,” before God. You’ve made it your god, have accomodated your Christianity to it only out of some vestigial sense of cultural affinity, and you’re truly angered by those who won’t compromise as you’ve compromised. That anger manifests in a desire to falsely paint Biblical literalists as leftists, which is so illogical as to be nearly incomprehensible. Where did widespread atheism in society originate? It originated in a political movement on the left of the political spectrum. Why has evolution been so thoroughly indoctrinated into the populace? To speed the assimilation of recalcitrant, bitter clingers with their guns and their God. But you, Buck W., see leftism in those who resist it, and not in yourself, having accomodated it. It’s some sort of weird Stockholm Syndrome, and you can’t see the forest for the trees as a result. You identify with your captors.

I believe he said that the creationist side employs leftist tactic - not that they are leftist empirically.

The leftist label really seems to bug you. I think you see that it fits the creation rationalizers well. The fact that it’s being applied by a Christian (me) makes it even more irritating to you.

It’s really sort of ironic, with that screen name and that tagline of yours, that you’d see danger in religious dissent, which is Constitutionally protected since the founding of this country by the way, and lapse into de facto agreement with the DUmp, Janet Napolitano and Barak Obama as a result, Pistolshot.

The article claims that Trotsky was already a revolutionary communist and budding Marxist before he read any Darwin. Isn’t there some way you can blame his earlier views on Darwin too?

I think you’re engaging in a simplistic game of tit-for-tat with little cogitation required on your part, Buck W., but tell me this: Jesus Christ is described as the second Adam in the Bible. Jesus Himself spoke of Creation in purely Biblical terms and dealt with Creation, the garden and the flood as fact.

Accomodate that to evolutionary speciation if you can. Maybe your DC buds can cook something up. You know better, so enlighten me.

The danger is the the labeling by the Creationists of anyone that disagrees with them, as not being Christian enough.

It’s rather ironic to have an argument dismissed as “simplistic” by a creation rationalizer. On the other hand, you certainly understand the measurment standard!

Religious dissent is a literal, Constitutionally protected right, Pistolshot. And here you sit, all smug and condescending, raining down every slander of the left, falsely equating Biblical literalists to fascists, to Hitler, to God only knows what, and all in defense of some philosophical construct parading as science that actually was utilized by the fascist named Hitler. If you spin any harder, you might want to disarm before you shoot yourself in something other than the foot, lol.

Oooh, you're actually reading my other responses onthread ... *Applause*

You find Creation irrational, but contend that you believe in the Creator nonetheless. Now that's not just ironic, it's irrational in itself.

But, if you're somehow able to rationalize your rejection of Creation, when Jesus Christ is described as the Second Adam and spoke clearly upon the Creation, the garden, the fall and the flood as fact, I'm certainly willing to listen.

My bet is you'll punt, dodge the issue, and come back with another weak tit-for-tat, because you have no answer.
