They are a little slow, I have been using the word for years.
They must have finally caught up.
the clintons really are the symbol of the baby boomer generation and the decline of america.
“Bupkis” is a Yiddish word that has been in popular use in the USA for probably 100 years or more.
As far as “Clintonista” goes, it is hardly used since hillary emasculated bill, then the TOTUS-reader checked her into the boards.
The clintons are done, politically. they might shuffle from spot to spot but as a force, they have bupkis.
grilled cheese ? grilled cheese is new?
Not everyone has been using this word.
Thanks.
Adding words to the OED is a constant process. Last I heard, the OED, if actually printed on paper would be well over 40 volumes. The original edition (perhaps with the supplement?) was about 20 volumes.
I would love to own the OED. Just reading about the origins and development of words can be fascinating. I just can’t see spending $1000 and I have no more shelf space as it is.
They’re never be able to print the new edition on paper. It would wipe out whole forests.
Thanks for the info on the OED.
They had better add “Obamanista” because it is a natural extension. Stronger Commie ties.
Thanks Vlad
I'll be more impressed if "Arkancide" ever makes the grade.
From a slang dictionary....
bupkis: Nothing, nada, zilch, zippo.
Example: I lost all my money in the stockmarket so now I have bupkis.
>>Bupkis means ???<<
It means nothing, nada, zilch. I have heard it my whole life and it is on TV a lot.
Oh well, I guess everybody hasn’t heard it :)
Buty it has been around a lot.
