They are a little slow, I have been using the word for years.

They must have finally caught up.

Adding words to the OED is a constant process. Last I heard, the OED, if actually printed on paper would be well over 40 volumes. The original edition (perhaps with the supplement?) was about 20 volumes.

I would love to own the OED. Just reading about the origins and development of words can be fascinating. I just can’t see spending $1000 and I have no more shelf space as it is.

They’re never be able to print the new edition on paper. It would wipe out whole forests.
