NEWPORT NEWS (NNS) -- A USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) officer has broken stereotypes in the Navy across all ranks during the past 22 years.
Cmdr. Muhammad Khan, Air Department's Head of Department emigrated from Karachi, Pakistan in 1981, to earn a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at North Texas State University. Later, fascinated with Naval Aviation after watching the movie Top Gun, he enlisted in the Navy in 1987.
"He is a great guy and a natural leader. He doesn't care about nationality or religion. He lets your work speak for you," said Lt.j.g. Rami Islam, Engineering department's auxiliary division officer. "He is breaking stereotypes and making a name for Muslims and immigrants in the military."

Well, I assume after 20+ years, he’s a fully gung ho Naval officer first and foremost. That’s a pretty intense and all-consuming life. If you stick in it and excell, it literally becomes your life. That’s my take.

LTJG Rami Islam’s dad is Hesham Islam, formerly an advisor to the Deputy Secretary of Defense, Gordon England. Hesham is a retired Navy commander with some questionable past associations.
I think he’s a brother, as in Muslim Brotherhood. He’s Egyptian.

The last thing that we should be doing is inviting more Muslims into our military or country. This does not even begin to offset all the problems that Muslims are causing in America. The bottom line with Muslim immigration is trouble.
He is no true Muslim.
While at Bell Labs within a Integrated Circuit Design group I worked directly with a electrical engineer from both Iran and Afghanistan. They where both great people to work with. They got out of their countries with their families years back and wanted no part of their native country.
He was identified by the FBI as a Muslim Brotherhood member. They have infiltrated every aspect of our country.
That is not true, this man’s father has a high ranking position at the Pentagon and the FBI has identified him as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Yet he did not get fired, but he got another man fired because he did not like that he was investigating the Islamic scriptures themselves. Our govt is more concerned with being politically correct than anything else and they are clueless on how Islam tells Muslims to be deceptive. Look at CAIR, many of our politicians still embrace them.
