I saw this on TV last night. Family farms being ruined, etc. And they showed a long line of our newest citizens who are SOL because their jobs have dried up. Unhappy, restless natives, for sure. BO’s fault.

I saw this last night too. There was some eco nut saying if the fish wasn't saved the the water would dry up for 20 million people.

I would love to know how that works

In our area there are about 20 vineyards. They are using the areas water up faster than they can pump it out of the ground. Many home owners in the area are seeing their wells going dry and are having to go from 150 feet to 800 feet just to get water. Some of these outfits need to shut down. I have a neighbor that is putting in grapes. His well can only pump water for about 20 minutes before it pumps mud. Does he understand that he’s using to much water? No! He is putting in more grapes. Some people don’t care.....they just keep pumping water to make wine. If he effects my well, we are going to have a lot more than a few words.

These have been, and are the ones, who run this country through the sleeze that is in DC. EnvironMENTALISM is a form of national socialism.

BHO has not made one decision that has or will benefit this country.

He sending us down the road to bankruptcy and is attempting to destroy the very fabric that has made this country great.

Try this one: Pat Wiggins (state senator, CA)floated a bill to shut down suction dredging (gold mining) until Fish & Game makes a decision on it. In the meantime, there are groups allowed to use nets to catch (threatened) salmon that ‘need’ to be protected.
When will I get compensated for a taking of my mining claim?
When pigs fly.

Ah, now a way to artificially create food shortages.

I seem to recall a more brutal variation on that theme was used a while back by another cult-of-personality type leader.

California could have endless water supplies, only Obama and his enviro nuts shut down the Nuclear development project in Nevada which could have supplied all the cheap electricity needed to build desalinization plants along the coast.

California deserves to self destruct. It’s the only way that the population will turn on these nutcases and make them an endangered species.

Agreed. I am a sixth generation Californian and I hate what I’m seeing happening to my home state. It use to be a great state but I am totally convinced now that there are those that want to totally destroy the state. Live in the country that is still pure and you will see a different attitude than you see in the city.

...Obama promised to create 2 & 1/2 million new jobs....just rhetoric and unsustainable unless you understand Obama means for government to “hire” the jobless thereby growing an already bloated mass of Bureaucrats into an even more unworkable army of federal employees.

I saw this on TV too. The first thing I thought is that we should sue because of the CO2 pollution. Kill a million trees and you destroy an enormous CO2 sink. As they decompose, they release enormous amounts of CO2. They will ultimately melt the icecaps and destroy these minnows!

Water covers 75% of the world. We are in no danger of losing any.

The root of the problem seems to be stubborn refusal to acknowledge that much of California is desert. The baseline for southern cal is arid wasteland. Take away the water and the people will have to leave. It's just that simple.
