The alternative, as presented, is to stay home and give the election to the Democrats, or vote the lesser evil.

The fact that ANYONE can call themselves Republican and then run for office under the GOP ticket is exactly why the freaking left has almost taken over BOTH parties.

Indeed. Here in NY Mayor Bloomberg (seeking third term) has abandoned his independent status (originally a dem, then pubbie then indy) to run again on the republican ticket. Why? Local news boasts it's "location location" as to where his name will appear on the ticket and then added he was welcomed by the GOP with open arms.

Great rant. They always seem to catch me flat footed while I'm rushing to prepare dinner and reasons are the last thing on my mind.
