Friends attending the tea party locally, tell me that ACORN is attending them and misrepresenting their allegiance. They are getting petitions signed, misrepresenting them as against Obama and taxes. They explain something different than that written on the petition. More fraud, and lies from Obama Acorn people.
I would start by having an organizer of the tea party announcing over loudspeaker that there will be no petition from us to sign today. If someone here asks you to sign anything, it is most likely an ACORN person posing as a patriot. etc.
Information is your friend.
That means that the people who signed the petitions without reading them first, are no different than many of the members of the House and Senate who voted for the budget and bailout bills.

That reminded me of a poll that I read online (local newsite). It read ‘Do you believe Japan is trying to make Nuclear weapons to target the US?’
I wrote them, and asked them if they meant NK?
THey changed the wording to NK on the poll but left all votes the same, instead of starting over.

I would not give personal information out to anyone.
I hope to attend on the 15th and have a few friends in tow. I will be sure to warn them against Chicagoland politics.

I suggest the “olde tea party” standard of tarring and feathering anyone with an trojan horse.

MIght I recommend that you let the newspaper and TV stations know what’s going on? This would make a great news story if pitched correctly. Figure out who is covering your tea party, contact that person and tell them what you know. As them to “look into” this situation. If any of you has a friendly contact who works in at the newspaper or one of the TV stations IN THE NEWS DEPARTMENT, tell them. Also, the sign idea is a good one, but I would add “Acorn-George Soros operative” to the signs, and make a lot of them. These cowards move in herds. If I truly wanted to disrupt Acorn, I would also take some of that Kid Fun Spray String, non-toxic, good clean fun to tag them once they are identified. You can get it at toy stores and craft stores. A red color would be effective!

Maybe we should infiltrate Acorn and maybe get enough people to infiltrate it we can actually have a less corrupted census in 2010.
I am all for confiscating their materials as disruptive to our tea party.
