Would tar and feathers while being run out of town on a rail help?

I am trying to get through that piece of garbage. I think it is worthwhile reading, because the more you know about your enemy, the easier he is to defeat.

I'm not a lawyer but I have been known to talk like one, so here goes:
a) Acorn receives federal funds to operate and is therefore an agent of the federal government;
b) Tea party goers are exercising their Constitutional rights, specifically Amendment 1: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Seems obvious to me that Acorn is abridging the right of the people peaceably to assemble. Any of you legal beagles out there agree or disagree?

RE “
I have already infitrated several animal rights groups here in the Seattle area.It really is a lot of fun. ”
You have the spirit! The trick is to sow division. “Why isn't Obama doing more?”, “ Why did he say he wont support our cause?”

“Could happen in Denver, too, I suppose.”
A couple of trolls are already all over the facebook denver blog, and I anticipate some nastyness at the rally as Denver is such a lefty hot bed of support for Obama. But we shall see.
The denver cops are great and I trust they will keep it nice and safe.

The following comment was posted on a local forum in the “We surround them” group here in Pinellas FL. I was also at the Orlando Tea Party, but was not asked to sign any petition. (I was busy working at our FR table.:)
Here is the comment:
“We went to the Orlando Tea party a couple of Saturdays ago and a gentleman was walking around with a petition for a citizen’s initiative for a constitutional amendment. People were signing it and when he approached me, I told him I didn’t know anything about it and I wanted to read it first. He was very annoyed at me (really nasty) and told me that he couldn’t imagine why everyone wouldn’t want this constitutional amendment (I don’t even remember what it was). I told him that, unlike our elected officials, I didn’t sign anything without reading it. He glared at me and walked away. After reading your e-mail, I’m glad I didn’t sign it.
(The email being about Obama folks getting signatures and pledges of support.)

Arizona is a gold star OPEN CARRY state.
Some howevers: However, this is in a city park, and the city banned guns in city parks. However,
someone tested the law by asking to be politely arrested. However, the State Supreme Court ignored the AZ Constitution and upheld the ban.
However,
another person found a loophole and tested it by walking up the Tucson Mayer at an event in a city park with an open carry gun. Because he found a loophole that if you have a
concealed weapons permit, you can
open carry in the park in spite of the ban. However, I don't know if that's still the rule because that was several years ago.
Frankly, I don't carry at protests and I don't recommend it although I realize others have reasoned opinions on that matter. And this is one scenario where the police really
are standing by to assist!
Also, I don't think we need to intimidate ACORN. They should be easy to beat without having to do that.

Put any Tea Party-related petition online, and make the Tea Parties a petition-free zone. Announce the web address, or pass out leaflets with that address, and make it clear that anyone circulating petitions in the crowd is not authorized to do so at this event. You can't stop them, of course, but at least you'll have a better idea of who the ACORN cretins are.

I like your idea of videotaping and asking for id. Hiring bikers from a bar reminds me of "Gimme Shelter" which I saw as a teenager at a drive-in!
I think the thing to remember is to beat them by wits, not weight.

You misjudge patriotic bikers.
They don’t come to fight.
They just stand around and maintain a “presence”.

How about creating a web page and uploading the pictures of ACORN phonies? Call it ACORNphonies.com. I am not sure what the legal ramifications would be.
