My wife likes the church and I'm not going to rip her likes away because of my displeasure and yes, I've brought it up with them.

Many of the suburban mega-churches care more about expanding membership than teaching spiritual values. Also a lot of people chose churches merely for the social leisure activites they offer.

Good. Murder should never be a kind and gentle subject.

I heard someone on radio call Prestonwood Baptist Church in north Dallas “PrestonWorld”. Apparently its pretty darn big, 2 coffee shops??

I wonder what attending a megachurch like that would be like?

hearing this news, I am even more proud of my pastor. On our Life Sunday he stated, “It is murder!” He announced that through Christ’s atonement, we could find forgiveness for that sin as well as any other sin but I was impressed he didn’t cave.

By holding off on the policy change, the president hoped to divorce the question of family-planning funding from the frenzied and highly charged emotions surrounding the Roe anniversary, according to two people familiar with his thinking.

That's a respectful move, said the Rev. Joel Hunter, pastor of Northland Church, outside Orlando, Fla., an abortion opponent who has tried to expand the evangelical agenda.

BS! That's a deceitful move.

People who hate high-profile Christians, who live to condemn them, are tiring.

Do you feel better damning Christians, tobyhill?

Sounds like you are going to the wrong church. Find a church where the leadership respects Scripture, and preaches from the Scriptures.

"Nobody's pro-abortion," he said during the third presidential debate. "I think it's always a tragic situation."

That's a typical lie by a typical depraved apologist for the unspeakably evil practice of legally murdering babies in their mothers' womb.

A neighbor just told me that today "O" approved sending $400 million overseas to fund baby murder for poor mothers who want to kill their unborn children but can't afford to pay the murderers. I want to be present in God's judgment hall to hear what those Catholic and evangelical "Christians" who voted for "O" have to say to Jesus Christ when they stand before Him and try to explain why they committed that abominable sin.

Jesus said that it is better to have a millstone tied around one's neck and be cast into the sea than to "offend one of these little ones" who He held in His arms. I will gladly contribute to buy a millstone and a rope for any self-styled "Christian" who voted to continue and expand legalized baby murder if he or she promises to use it as Jesus said would be best for him or her.
