President Barack Obama will issue an order restoring U.S. funding for international family-planning groups involved with abortion. But he chose not to do so on Thursday, the anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
President Obama was breaking with the tradition set by his recent predecessors to make an abortion-related order on the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling, another example of his attempt to support liberal policies he believes in while trying to defuse emotional political debates.
Bill Clinton and George W. Bush both used Jan. 22, the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision guaranteeing legal abortion, to change U.S. policy toward organizations involved with family-planning and abortion.

Starting? When evangelical “leaders” started getting into “causes” such as environmentalism that’s when I walked. Not all are corrupt, but quite a few are. It’s pretty obvious when you hear what topics consume their attention these days.
Just returned from a vigil in front of the local Planned Parenthood. I would say over 50 people attended.
OK, but only abortions for Negroes, the way Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger, intended.

So what we should thank him for giving the kids a 24-hour reprieve?
When we are funding money to kill evil dictators and terrorists overseas, we are bad. But now that we are funding money to kill innocent babies, we are good.
I would say “may God have mercy on this country,” but I’m afraid we’re pass deserving His mercies.
Well, last Sunday was Sanctity of Life Sunday and as a Southern Baptist, I spoke hardly about that life begins at conception. I do not classify Rick Warren as a Southern Baptist, Rick jumped the shark years ago.
They are afraid of (1) losing the tax exemption, (2) being disliked by liberals, (3) church income downturns, and (4) their own shadows. The evangelicals should start holding their conventions in Casper, WY, as they are like “Casper the Friendly Ghost”.

Apparently your pastor got the memo. Gay marriage and abortion divide Americans and poison nonbeliever’s hearts to hear Christ. Evangelicals need to move beyond social issues and find consensus with non believers to save the world. Once nonbelievers see how worthy evangelicals are, they will accept Christ. - the Rick Warren way.
Does your church have a wednesday night meeting? maybe you could bring it up, or find a new church
