Conservatives Counter-protest Hamas Rally In Westwood
PoliticalVindication.com ^ | January 12, 2009 | Evrviglnt

Posted on 01/12/2009 4:23:46 PM PST by Evrviglnt

I joined several of my conservative friends and bloggers Saturday in a counter-protest of a pro-Gaza rally at the Westwood Federal building in Los Angeles. The rally was organized by the communist funded ANSWER coalition. Beside the numerous Palestinian flags and noxious signs, throughout the crowd walked minions of ANSWER looking to sign up useful idiots for the “people’s revolution.” Among the many pictures I took, I include the books they had for sale. What a gruesome reading list you must wade through to hate your country. Of the hours of chants and speeches I heard today, never once did I hear calls for reconciliation and the peace that comes with it. Not once. I heard Intifada chanted a thousand times. Doesn’t that tell you where our partners in the Middle East peace process are focused on?

The lowlights were many. Shameless demogoguery. Mindless narcissism. Moral blindness. Willful ignorance. All ingredients for a powerful movement to normalize depravity and equivocate terrorism. I was able to lose myself in the crowd and walk amongst the Hamas followers. It was a surreal scene where hysteria reddened the eyes of the faithful like a bottle of cheap booze on an empty stomach. They were hungry for the red meat of vengeance, though it was evident that the one thing they lacked was strength - the kind of strength that comes with confidence. The support they have around the world comes from dregs like themselves, and today, shrill voices raised in desparation, earned them no more.

I took over two hundred pictures of these terrorist sympathizing yahoos. I've posted some of them here: http://politicalvindication.com/?p=3745

The place was probably flooded with Che shirts.

FYI: The "Party For Socialism and Liberation" is the organization now running the "peace" group A.N.S.W.E.R. When ANSWER was outed as a communist front for the Workers World Party in 2002, several WWP leaders split off to form the PSL and took control of ANSWER. WWP then started up a new "peace" group called Troops Out Now. -ETL

The following is from Wikipedia (linked sources at site):

"The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) is a Marxist party in the United States founded to promote revolutionary change.[2]

It was originally created as the result of a split within the ranks of the Workers World Party (WWP). The San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Washington, D.C. branches of WWP left almost in their entirety to form the PSL. Also appearing at this "peace" rally with the demonRat Charlie Rangel, now chairman of The House Ways and Means Committee, were Saddam Hussein lawyer, Ramsey Clark and convicted terrorist enabler/attorney, Lynne Stewart. Clark, with Workers World Party, started up that other 'peace' group, A.N.S.W.E.R. Clark also heads the International Action Center and was actually once Attorney General of the United States under democrat LBJ.

This scum, aka Hamas supporters, should come to the realization that most Americans would rather see them become dust!

I am quite frankly, sick and tired of marxists and Muslims invading OUR country. I wish they would leave.

The photo is from the linked website.

For anyone who doesn't know, World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime (their full name) is an "anti-war" front for the Revolutionary Communist Party. (scroll down the list that appears (after clicking link) to find the World Can't Wait organization --rwor.org is the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party):

Click on the 'World Can't Wait' link just below and see: "Endorsers of the Call to Drive Out the Bush Regime Include" You may recognize a few of the names, including the democrat chair of the House Judiciary Committee, John Conyers Jr. Conyers' name appears right after Ward Churchill's.

From the website of the Revolutionary Communist Party (revcom.us or rwor.org) :
"Create Public Opinion, Seize Power: We are preparing minds and organizing forces for the time when there is a major crack in the system, whenever it comes and wherever it comes from: an opening that makes it possible to bring the future Revolutionary Army of the Proletariat (R.A.P.) into the field and wage a revolutionary armed struggle that actually has a chance of winning. And we have said that building our party itself is the most important part of organizing forces for revolution. This is true now, and it is true looking forward to the creation of that future R.A.P. and the waging of that armed struggle.":

Here's the Revolutionary Communist Party (see link below) boasting of a FULL PAGE 'World Can't Wait--Drive Out the Bush Regime' ad of theirs which appeared in the New York Slimes. Clarification: the World Can’t Wait photo I posted was from the posted article at the top. So apparently they were part of the same “anti-war”, anti-Israel demonstration that the article refers to.

ACORN......ANSWER...

ACORN's founder was an old SDS comrade of Bill Ayers.

From David Horowitz's
FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org

PROFILE: WADE RATHKE

Wade Rathke founded the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), for which he served as Chief Organizer from 1970 to 2008. He is also the co-founder and Chairman of the Tides Center; a Board member of the Tides Foundation; an Executive Board member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU); and Chairman of the AFL-CIO’s Organizers Forum. Rathke describes himself as someone who is dedicated to “winning social justice, workers' rights, and a democracy where ‘the people shall rule’”; i.e., socialism.

Rathke hails from a family of prosperous orange ranchers in Orange County, California. During the late 1960s he attended Williams College in Massachusetts but dropped out before graduating. He thereafter became a draft-resistance organizer for the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), and an organizer for George Wiley’s National Welfare Reform Organization (NWRO). (For details on NWRO, see the separate entries for George Wiley and the “Cloward-Piven Strategy.”)

In 1970, Wiley sent Rathke to Little Rock, Arkansas to begin organizing NWRO chapters in the South. By that time, Wiley -- who was African American -- was coming under attack by black militants who opposed his policy of placing whites such as Rathke in NWRO leadership positions.

Rathke, perhaps sensing that he might soon be demoted or released entirely, in 1970 formed a new organization called Arkansas Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). He enlisted civil rights workers and trained them in a program (at Syracuse University) patterned after Saul Alinsky’s activist tactics.

The group’s name was later changed to Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, but the acronym ACORN remained the same. ..."

You’re right Mojo - since the protest was organized by ANSWER - a communist funded group - and walking through the crows were useful idiots getting sign-ups for their communist newspaper. The place was infested with “People’s Republic” flags, etc.

Make sure you check out the picture of the rack of books for sale - there’s your socialist reading list!
