Come on you guys, cut out the name calling. It’s no big deal.
It certainly became an important Cabinet seat after Bubba moved the decision-making authority concerning trade of sensitive technology from DOD to Commerce. I’m sure the Chinese Army appreciated the value of the Commerce cabinet post.
For reasons we can all figure out no media has bothered to investigate Richardson’s nasty effort to force gambling on the Navajo reservation. The trail leads back to New Jersey and to others who would benefit and have worked with Richardson for a long time.
Now I see why he was not chosen VP...

Great point. I asked another friend: “what does the Commerce Secretary do anyway” He said: “I think they are in charge of corruption”. Thinking back, it was the right answer. Aren’t the Commerce Secretaries always the ones being indicted? Ron Brown, etc. So Richardson was perfect for the job, and was just doing what Obama needs someone to do!
He allows the bodies of murdered naked staffers to accumulate in his offices. He goes on airplanes that crash and his body turns up with a 45 caliber hole in his skull.

I worked for an outfit overseas one time that shared space with the commerce department and I can tell you from first hand experience, the whole thing could be cut and it would be no loss to taxpayers.

Richardson , David Rubin, CDR, and Pay for Play: A Summary
...A textbook case of corruption.
Here are some quick facts:
1. New Mexico award CDR won 1.4 million dollars from the New Mexico government after donating 100,000 dollars to two Richardson organizations. This is the incident the FBI has pushing hard on.
2. David Rubin of CDR has been involved in Politics from being on Ed Rendell’s transition team in 2003, to being appointed to the LA Housing Authority.
3. CDR has been involved in Low Income Housing plans with the now bankrupt Freddi Mac.
4. CDR was involved in possible corruption in Philadelphia from 2000-2003.
5. CDR managed to leave low income housing called Oakwood Terrace as a cesspool.
6. CDR May have also swindled Atlanta.
7. ON Sept 28th2007 the SEC fined CDR and Anchor National Life Insurance Company,(A company owned by AIG) for various corruption scandals.
8. CDR and David Rubin have poured 10’s of thousands of dollars in various Democrats including Hillary Clinton and President-Elect Obama.
4. CDR was involved in possible corruption in Philadelphia from 2000-2003.
Wonder how this connects with:
Burris has gone on to receive over $1 million in no-bid, low-effort “consulting” contracts from Illinois State agencies under the Governor’s control as well as a $5000/month “retainer” from Loop Capital, headed by BHO homie Jim Reynolds.
Jim Reynold is one of BO longest and best friend. Loop Capital is also partly run by Craig Robinson BO’s BIL.
