ST. LOUIS A St. Louis city leader frustrated with the police response to rising crime called Tuesday on residents to arm themselves to protect their lives and property.
Alderman Charles Quincy Troupe said police are ineffective, outnumbered or don't care about the increase in crime in his north St. Louis ward. St. Louis has had 157 homicides in 2008, 33 more than last year at this time.

I think that is a good sign, but it shouldn’t take a politico saying it for Citizens to arm themselves against the thugs among them.
Now they should have a free weapons safety and marksmanship course.

Reminds me of the old slander against the Cleveland PD that the last thing you want to say when calling them is that there is a shooting or firearms. Once they heard that they, allegedly, would actually take longer to respond to the call.

Carrying guns, he said, is not a "recipe for a less violent community."
I couldn't disagree more. Statistics don't lie.

I think that is a good sign, but it shouldnt take a politico saying it for Citizens to arm themselves against the thugs among them. Yes it does, because the people are sheep and are afraid. Baaa, baaa, baaa. Really. If you shoot a burglar or rapist, it's you who will be on trial for your life and freedom, not them. The liberals ensure that, because (horrors!) you used a gun!
America is messed up, ass-backwards, upside-down, calling good evil and evil good.
I'm constantly amazed at the mercy of God, that we're still here to live another day with the liberal inmates running the government and trying to run our lives to boot.

Yep, I was a lot surprised by our local Active Warrants
Olmsted County / City of Rochester Law Enforcement
Misdemeanor, Gross Misdemeanor, and Felony
Note: Does not include Parking Warrants
Warrant activity in the last 3 days are highlighted first
http://www.co.olmsted.mn.us/courts/active_warrants.asp
Total Warrants: 2215
.
Like what the &^%$#@#$%%^ are we paying taxes for? Where’s the law enforcement?
Do they just let criminals go because they collect more money from from ticketing someone with income?
