We attended a McCain rally in Sarasota, Florida on Thursday and picked up some bumper stickers. I just went to the neighborhood convenience store to get some milk, which took maybe five minutes. When I returned to my car, I noticed that my "NObama" bumper sticker read "Obama". Somebody used some kind of blade to cut off the "N" and left a deep scratch as well.
And they consider the Democratic Party the party of tolerance.
Is this what we are to expect from an Obama presidency? Will even the slightest, most inoffensive dissent be stifled?
Got photos?
That sucks - but are you really surprised?
Get ready for worse...
Yes, this is what we all have to look forward to. Call the cops.
I am sorry. My car was keyed last week here in Miami. McCain/Palin bumper sticker. These people are a disgrace.
This sort of crap has kept me from putting my McCain sticker on my truck. I can’t afford to buy a new truck, right now...
And if I’m in jail, I can’t vote on 11/4
;-)
...and keep calling them.
Call the cops.
I would put Pro-McCain and Nobama signs on their property. Watch em flip out.
Just wait. If the Messiah wins, this type of activity will be child’s play. Serious PC and ‘Fairness’ will reign.
I did.
Invasion of the Nobama Scratchers.
FYI
Some people might suggest putting McCain/Palin bumper stickers on Liberal’s cars and see what happens, but that wouldn’t be very nice, would it?
I have never seen more disgusting nonsense going on in a political campaign from both sides. We are hearing this from both Obama and McCain supporters. What is going on in this country. I never heard this type of thing before.
I love tolerance.
And many McCain supportors are not going to put signs and stickers because of such things. So that is why stickers is a bad way to tell support or lack of this time.
You Stated: “And they consider the Democratic Party the party of tolerance.”<p.
Response: Rejoice now you know what some people mean when they use a big term like tolerance. Now you are ready to look at what the people using the following terms mean by them: equal rights, room at the table, the big tent, peace, love, racial harmony, one man one vote, forgiveness, concern for the poor, men should not be divided by a mere line, affirmative action, equal employment opportunity etc. etc.
