Charlie Rose (Barf Alert - New York Times, Newsweek, and Time all declare Obama the Victor)
Charlie Rose ^ | 10-24-08 | Charlie Rose

Blame Bush, blame Palin, Obama is cool, even-tempered and the Messiah. They refer to the "post-racial" era that makes people forget race. (Funny, abolishing affirmative action or crime wasn't discussed)

The ass kissing of these three dying mediums for an unproven Leftist is just par for the Marxist old media.

...Nothing on Obama many Communist or terror mentorships and connections. Nothing on his faked birth certificate, nothing on Odinga...

They spoke nearly in all past-tense, as BHO has been elected.

They say Republicans have gone downscale as a party and left the upper crust WASP model and settled into the lower-end of society...basically they say that traditional Republicans economically have turned to being Democrats.

Joe Klein of Time Magazine has give Barack Obama eight (8) covers. The Liberal bias is insanity. No wonder they are all failing as businesses.

Maggots, pure and simple.

The outright arrogance of these Leftists is awe-inspiring...when their taxes inflate and crime explodes with the LBJ/Carter bloating of the welfare state...they will be the first to complain.

With the liberal media losing readers, viewers, and revenues, I;m starting to believe that they want to go out with a flourish(i.e their attacks against McCain/Palin) and promoting Obama.

From their paper
New York Times Co. Reports an Earnings Decline of 51%

The New York Times Company reported a 51.4 percent decline in third-quarter profit on Thursday and swung to a loss on continuing operations as deeper-than-expected expense cuts could not keep pace with falling revenue.

The company said it might cut its dividend and planned to write down the value of assets in its New England Media Group, which includes The Boston Globe, by as much as $150 million.

It is official the NYT is now at junk status. The shorts are taking their time crushing this stock. Will be interesting to see who picks it up if anyone...Perhaps Murdock

why bother having an election day

That's exactly what they want people to believe.

They're applying the full court press cause the people favor McCain/Palin and the media knows it.

The outcome is gonna surprise a lot of people in the media ranks.

I see many blacks who are very excited about this election, on every corner they are attempting to register voters.

Has anyone done a demographic study of the 40% who don’t pay taxes?

“That’s exactly what they want people to believe.”

That has usually backfired. The Obamabots think they have it in the bag and don’t show up they could lose big.

Registering voters is one thing. Getting them to show up and stand in line at the polls to actually vote is another story.

I hope you are right.

Race isn’t a factor in my decision to vote for McCain, a terror-linked Muslim who flies to Kenya with $1 million in tow from an American fundraiser to support an Islamic politician that kills Christians that my news media refuses to cover is the reason I am not voting for Mr. Soetero.

This is actually a positive development and a major tactical error by the media-industrial complex.

Democrat voters worship the media and quite a few are only marginally likely to vote in the first place, especially among the young and recently ACORNed: Many will see the election as a foregone conclusion and won’t bother to vote at all.

I read that many people in the urban core think Barack is already President after beating Clinton for the DNC nomination.

Oh, those public schools! Thank you, Bill Ayers and the other 60’s Marxists who turn children’s minds into sheeple.

Lemme guess: The same ones who think Martin Luther King Jr. freed the slaves?

They say Republicans have gone downscale as a party and left the upper crust WASP model and settled into the lower-end of society...basically they say that traditional Republicans economically have turned to being Democrats.

Well, that means (if these guys are right, and they may not be) the Yacht Club has given up and gone over to their Marxist enemies. Who'd have thunk it?

Some of the crusterati have certainly given up on paleoconservative principled opposition to statism -- Christopher Buckley among them, like Alcibiades, the roue' son of Pericles, who went over to the Spartans and betrayed 10,000 of his fellow-citizens, with whose command he had been entrusted before his entirely self-induced disgrace and fall, to a degrading and pitiful death in battle and in slavery beneath the citadel of Syracuse.

But the sneers of Charlie Rose's guests for the new, "downscale" leadership of the "residue" of the GOP, are precisely like those of the Four Hundred before their overthrow by the Progressive Movement. Sarah Palin and her successors will teach these guys humility, just as Ronald Reagan did before her.

People like David Brooks, Peggy Noonan, and Charlie's guests confuse articulation and the possession of an elite education with principles, and make the mistake of despising the People as Sinclair Lewis once did with his anathematization of them in Main Street and Babbit. It was they, not Lewis, who transacted American history, and it was he who was reduced to writing books in which he hated them on paper.

Charlie Rose just does not care if Obama spent twenty years being mentored by the heathen Jeremiah Wright; just think of 20 years of Wright's profanity and twenty years of Wright commanding God to damn our God given nation!
