The polls in mid to late Oct in 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000 and 2004 had the Democratic nominee way ahead (double digits) of their Republican challenger, and miraculoulsy tightened big time right before the election. The pollsters in 1996 had Clinton ahead by 22% in late October, and he won by only 9%. Just like then, the pollsters gamed the polls, hyped them up, tried to dampen Republican enthusiasm, and then tightened them big time right before the election. Just like then, they try to keep their polling credibility.

The truth is, is that Obama is not ahead in MO, CO, VA, NC, FL, OH, IN or NV. He is behind.

The truth is, is that NH and PA are toss ups (as are some other blue states).

This will flip the rest!!

Foreign Policy: President Obama’s Past Will Haunt American Security?

American people, is it really worth choosing Obama as the first African American candidate?

Imagine, Bin Laden & Achmedinajad if ever questioned by President Obama about their terrorist activities, or developing nuclear weapons program? The two most hated man by most Americans will smile, twist their lips, laugh slyly as they will know they have Obama where they really want him. In a defensive position on international scene.

Read the rest at:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2112132/posts

And their response which is a reasonable response is going to be, “who are you to tell us anything!”
Don’t you remember Mr. President, you sat with Rev. Wright who did noting but put America down for 20 years. Also, you have lived and worked with a terrorist Bill Ayers who pretty much did same thing in 60’s what we did in 2001.
Farrakhan, Rezko, Auchi, Alsammarae, the list goes on. So President Obama, spare us your higher than thou show! Stop lecturing us about how to be a good leader. Just between us (Obama, Bin Laden & Achmedinajad), we share the same past and thinking and now we control the destiny of the world

In this world it is only the American people who can be fooled over and over and you did a great job with them. We will see who the next president is going to be in 4 years. Until then, hey Muslim brother, welcome to the real world, Achmedinajad will say to President Obama.

What will President Obama’s response be? In very simple terms, the effects of Obama’s PAST ASSOCIATION will be reflected in ways that American people do not anticipate.

The most important American argument of moral superiority will loose its value and meaning as Obama’s past will always be thrown in our faces by the enemy. This will drive Obama and his team crazy and :
To show his might President Obama will take a harder position on every foreign policy negotiation including increasing the defense budget which he has opposed.
To prove that he is a stronger President, Obama will be more eager to put American military in harms ways.
Knowing Iran’s President, he is going to be a thorn on Obama’s side.
Foreign policy decisions towards other countries such as Russia that do business with Iran will always be tainted.
Military will see a sharp downward turn in its numbers. The lack of commitment towards national defense by American people in general will be quite obvious.
Obama and Democrats will have no choice but to Start a draft.
Oil prices will go up and world economies will again take a dive.

In fact, I disagree with Biden who just warned us, “Watch, we’re going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.” Obama’s past will always be dangled in front of his face to shame him by the foreign leaders in every matter including matters that ordinarily will never be considered “international crisis.”

And so American people, though it would be nice to have an African American become the President of the United States, please let us not do that at the expense of American security.

Let us wait to choose the right African American candidate.

There’s a good chance that Obama’s internal polls are optimistic. First the callers have a subtle tone that some interviewees pick up. Second, in a totalitarian organization organized around cult of personality no one wants to pass bad news up the chain.

I think it’s spelled “axed”.

This info is about a week old though isn’t it? I wonder if the numbers have changed, even if that 2% was accurate.

Those comments by Gov Rendell were very interesting though, and make me think they are worried about PA. Then that moron Murtha opens his sewer of a mouth and insults his own constituents. Hopefully that helps McCain.

Just in case you missed it, we here in Western Pennsylvania STILL cling to our guns and religion. Do you think we weren’t stocking up? Obama, Pelosi, Reid, MURTHA, Kennedy, Casey, Hagel (RINO), Kerry, Jimma Carter ( good grief), Zbib Brezinski and on and on. Has anyone heard from the CLINTOON’S lately on the MSM? Interesting.

Regardless of whether 2% is optimistic or not, 2% is not good for Obama.

He should be way ahead.

There is a reason why McCain is campaigning in both PA and NH. He knows the polls are screwed up.

Oh, you're one of the spelling policemen I have heard about here.

News flash: Everyone makes mistakes, including you.

Please learn to spend your time adding something constructive to the discussion on this thread, rather than boneheadedly nitpick.

Oprah Winfrey may not be the head of a totalitarian organization, but she does exercise a great deal of influence and most certainly benefits from the cult of personality.

When she claims that Obama is The One, I believe she truly thinks it is a foregone conclusion.

But on November 4th, I hope that America votes with its mind and not its heart.

If so, not only will Obama be defeated, but maybe both his and Winfrey’s influence will have reached the end.

A week old?

Didn't I say “In case you missed it...?”

No, given Murtha’s comments about people in PA being racists and rednecks, and Obama’s comments about Pennsylvanians bitterly clinging to God and guns, I imagine that it is still 2% or still a toss up.

Believe me: Obama will NOT win Pennsylvania. Period. There are many more voters in the hinterland than there are in Filthadelphia. Take that to the bank, Ed Rendell.

Brit Hume just pronounced BO ahead by 9 points in the Fox poll.
I switched to the Food Network. When every network is trying to discourage conservatives into staying home on election day, it’s time to tune them all out.

If it is a week old, then both of the feet in Murtha's mouth could not have improved the situation.

FOX and Brit are very disappointing to me. Not only is there poll whacked, but they don't even question the internals. Additionally, Brit doesn't even mention other polls that show it much tighter. What is going on with Special Report? Even the panel seems uncurious about the "conventional wisdom".
