That’s not necessarily the fault of a legitimate voter on the rolls. After ACORN gets through cruising through the phonebook or voter rolls you might well find yourself registered multiple times.

This is part of the reason ACORN must be taken down.

Clear all of the dead, duplicates and fraud at the risk of allowing new fraudlent registration because there might not be enough time to check every registration between now and when the next election is. Maybe we have to destroy ACORN and then it will be time to reregister everyone.

I agree. Wipe the slate clean after this election and require everyone to re-register...and they must DO IT IN PERSON WITH A VALID ID, not via these corrupt voter registration drives.

Ohio's big cities, with massive black populations, are the focus of ACORN and the Democrats have had multi-votes, phantom votes, etc. in Cleveland, Cincinatti, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo for YEARS. These are entitlement mecca's, and handouts buy their votes every election.

Coupled with Union blue-collars in the auto and steel industrial areas, the Democrats are able to field and elect candidates like Kookcinich, Sherrod the Socialist Brown, etc. Bob Taft was such a crappy Governor, he alienated a lot of conservatives and Republicans who didn't have anyone to vote for. DeWhine was such a RINO, Sherrod Brown easily defeated him. Voinovich will have a tough time when he's up for re-election, as there are so many entitlement-dependent people in Ohio, plus the loose-and-easy student populaton who vote Democrat because they just want to be contrary to the "Big Business" as they're instructed, that Ohio will be a long time before it elects ANY Republicans on National Elections.

I am talking about the people that registered twice or many times not the ones that ACORN registered.

If you are registered more then once it should show up when you sign in to vote in the vote log. I always check to make sure that there are no duplicates for any of my family.

Every precinct chair in the Country has a right to get a list of voters in their precinct from the election board. We do it here every two years to check out the voter roles and make sure they are accurate. There used to be an ACORN office here, but it closed after their fraudulent registrations were caught in 2004.

* Nonfeasance and Neglect: Failed to exercise due care to ensure the safety and security of state voter registrations

* Nonfeasance and Neglect: Failed to investigate and prohibit improper filings of state voter registrations
