MORE SHADY ISSUES FROM CAMP BARACK

October 9, 2008 by Rick Roberts

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!! There are FAR too many shady issues surrounding Barack Obama; his associations go far enough.

Alas, he continues to get a free pass from the lamestream media.

Obama is entrenched in history with Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, (ACORN). That SHOULD be enough to send up a red flag.

But what doesn’t seem to be widely known is the fact that this group is an extreme leftist organization.

Their demonstration tactics are notoriously close to that of radical anti-war groups like Code Pink and their organization as a whole attracts more criminals than an unlocked electronics store.

Here are a couple of the many, many, most RECENT controversies they’re embroiled in…

Former ACORN workers are reporting fraud in the company. The thing is, ACORN as a whole quite literally IS fraud. They’re a sham organization that goes around looking to scoot under the law by finding loopholes or just plain breaking it when they think no one is looking. From the New York Post:

And two Ohio voters, including Domino’s pizza worker Christopher Barkley, claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they’d already signed up. Barkley estimated he’d registered to vote “10 to 15″ times after canvassers for ACORN, whose political wing has endorsed Barack Obama, relentlessly pursued him and others.

And here are the kind of people they cater to:

(Ed: Go to link for embedded video)

CLASSY!

What’s important to realize about their method of registering the same people over and over again is this: The sad fact that voter fraud is, all too often, an overlooked crime. Especially once the election is over and everything is said and done.

Cries of racism and shouts for the ACLU also tends to cause officials to back off…

When the law does not even force you to provide a government-issued photo ID at the election booth, criminal activity is bound to seep through the cracks. You have to show a photo ID when you use your credit card, why shouldn’t you have to when you elect the leaders of the free world?!

From The Times Online:

INDIANA: New voter registrations closed Monday in Lake County with possible record-breaking numbers and simmering allegations of fraud and racial discrimination. Elections board Director Sally LaSota said more than 12,000 voter registration forms are waiting to be processed from recent days before the county knows how many potential voters are ready to cast ballots in the Nov. 4 general election. “It may be a record,” she said.

Porter County has processed at least 3,500 voter applications since the spring primary in May, officials there said. However, the large influx has brought new controversies. LaSota said Monday representatives of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, a grassroots activist group conducting registration drives, dropped off 2,000 new voter applications last week in Lake County. “About 1,100 are no good,” she said.

In addition to dead people and fake people with funny names, ACORN is also fond of criminals… From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinial:

WISCONSIN: Milwaukee County prosecutors Tuesday charged a convicted felon with illegally registering himself and others to vote between his conviction and his sentencing. The complaint accuses Adam Mucklin, 22, of registering to vote in June, after he was convicted of battery in April, and after a judge told him he couldn’t vote as a convicted felon. Later in June, Mucklin signed up to work as a paid voter registrar for the Community Voters Project, something else he couldn’t do as a convicted felon, the complaint says.

A recent opinion from the staff of the state Government Accountability Board says no one convicted of a felony can ever serve as a registrar, a stricter standard than the previous interpretation that registrars only had to be eligible to vote.

Under Wisconsin law, felons can’t vote until after they have completed their sentences and are off probation or parole. For Mucklin, that would not be until Jan. 10, 2012, the complaint notes.

And apparently the Nevada wing of ACORN was pretty successful in getting some out-of-state NFL players to get out the vote. From the Washingon Times:

A Nevada voter-fraud task force Tuesday raided the state headquarters of a Democrat-allied organization that works to get low-income people to vote, setting off a skirmish over efforts to expand the electorate on behalf of Sen. Barack Obama. Authorities searched the Las Vegas office of ACORN, which is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with duplicate and false names, including names of former Dallas Cowboys players.

With Obama’s ties to Project Vote (Now ACORN) both in the 90s and now, this is an issue that needs a little more attention than the media’s creation of things like Troopergate. From Townhall.com:

What has Barack Obama got to do with all this? Plenty. Let’s begin with Obama’s pre-law school days as a community organizer in Chicago. Few people have a clear idea of just what a “community organizer” does. A Los Angeles Times piece on Obama’s early Chicago days opens with the touching story of his efforts to build a partnership with Chicago’s “Friends of the Parks,” so that parents in a blighted neighborhood could have an inviting spot for their kids to play. This is the image of Obama’s organizing we’re supposed to hold. It’s far from the whole story, however. As the L. A. Times puts it, “Obama’s task was to help far South Side residents press for improvement” in their communities. Part of Obama’s work, it would appear, was to organize demonstrations, much in the mold of radical groups like Acorn.

This is pretty far out and not particularly related to your post but consider that it was written in January of 2008:

Here’s more from a June 13 article.

She mentions that in October, maybe people find out who the “real Obama” is.

http://politicalinquirer.com/2008/06/13/the-political-inquirers-2008-election-prediction-extravaganza/

It makes you wonder.

A couple of quotes from the link in your first post (written Jan 7, 2008
The United States is ready to embrace an alternative, and a woman as Vice President will be their ticket in 2008.

For sure…my psychic sense sees that a woman will occupy the White House as vice president as a result of the 2008 election, but not president. It’s just not Hillary’s time yet

The male presidential candidate who runs with a woman vice presidential candidate on the ticket will win the election by a landslide [My comment: That would be a suprize!]

If Barack Obama wins the nomination, Hillary Clinton may consider his invitation as the vice president, but his life will automatically be in danger.[Can you spell Arkancide? President Hilliary Clinton for 10 years minus one day]

not only will a woman become the nation’s first Vice President at the 2008 election, but she will be sworn in as president when the male president is forced to step down due to serious health issues or worse. I have also psychically stated that we will have a one-term president in 2008.

Of course she is off on most of the stuff in the article, but interesting none the less.

SighChicks have to cover a lot of ground to get some things right.

I'll check your other link tomorrow, thanks.

With regard to your last comment about “leg tingles” the answer is NO! Not as long as there are FReepers with memories.

With regard to the posted article, guess which FReeper lives smack dab in the middle of Lake County, Indiana?
