Strange Happenings During Ohio Early Voting Period
Pajamas Media ^ | October 9, 2008 | Soren Dayton

“Golden Week” ended October 6, 2008, in Ohio. And if Barack Obama wins Ohio narrowly in November, it may be because of what happened that week. It should also be a reminder of how messy our elections can be. John Fund has noted in the update to his book on election fraud, Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our Democracy, that the problems of 2000 have not been significantly addressed. A close presidential election that turns on the kinds of issues that arose in Ohio would further delegitimize our democratic system.

Golden Week ran from September 30 to October 6, when Ohio voters could register and vote on the same day. During this time, Democrats organized an extensive “get out the vote” (GOTV) effort. The Obama campaign sent an email to their national list urging supporters to call potential voters, referring to it as “our best shot in Ohio.” Three thousand voters cast votes in this period....

What would it take to put something besides the “voter honor system” in place nationally? How difficult would it be to require a photo I.D. with a legitimate address?

someone told me they heard that some states (Indiana was one) where they had 105% voter registration of the whole population (what about children in that pop?)..that’s extreme VOTER FRAUD.

There has to be a law or rule that all voters provide ID, or elec bill with name and address matching voter registration, or this is going to end up a stolen election...we must complain to right people. I know ACORN IS UNDER INVESTIGATION IN SEVERAL STATES, and everything they have ever done must be checked out for most of it is voter fraud. I believe they registered out of state college students, homeless, and dead people...along with Jive Turkey and the Dallad Cowboys...It may be January before we know who actually won or lost this election.

Don’t worry. If there’s anything fishy about Ohio, we know McCain will fight it.

3,000 votes leaves Obama about 111,000 votes short of the 2004 final count that Kerry lost by.

This cannot stand! Ohio or 'higher'; had better solve this problem that has been unfolding right under their noses. The same for the other 'battleground' States. No wonder, Obama is claiming victory; they already know how many votes are in the can for him. Is this the way America will be taken? While we bravely fight for Freedom in foreign lands; we lose our own Ground, right here at home.

And not with a 'bang'; but only a whimper, in the voting booth.

This comment says it all:
cfbleachers:

by any means necessary…but, don’t blame them. If you are just waking up and finding out about Saul Alinsky…shame on you.

If you are just waking up and finding out that our universities are overrun with indoctrination “plants” in tenured professors, shame on you.

If you have been unaware of the rampant “grass roots” campaigns to gerrymander districts and tilt elections, …shame on you.

If you have stood silently by while virtually every facet of our information stream has been corrupted with lies, intentionally misleading reports, photoshopped photographs, forged documents, staged photojourna-lies, failure to report key facts, cultlike brainwashing techniques, film propaganda, ….shame on you.

We have done absolutely nothing to stop it other than tsk-tsk on our favorite blogs. Our universities are a hotbed of hatred of America and Israel. Treasonous propaganda and seditious lies are ingrained in our youth there…your kids…and you do nothing about it.

Your “news” is completely corrupted. You can’t get even a semblance of the truth out of the wire services, the alphabet news rooms, the large metropolitan dailies…and still you sit there.

Hollywood produces screed after screed that trashes your country, and yet you support it with your dollars.

Understand this, if you don’t get it by now…that your communication channels have been in a chokehold, that your ability to get your ideas out into the marketplace have been strangulated, that they have organized a slow and steady marginalizing of your worldview…you are to blame as much as they are.

They are organized, you are not. They have a goalpost…you do not. They have the ability to mobilize forces, you do not. They are vocal, you are not. You assemble, you do not. They are galvanized, you are not. In any theater or campaign…one of the first things you do…is cut off communication. Yours has been so severely damaged, it will take decades to repair.

The next thing you do, is wear down the will to resist. Propaganda is probably the most powerful tool in the entire arsenal. If your communications are dead and you can’t fight their propaganda message effectively, if they “own” all the reports, all the “news”, all the facts…you lose.

The third thing you do, is try to demonize you and lionize themselves. You are bad, they are good. You are evil, they are saintly. You are racist, they are tolerant. You are warmongering, they are peaceful. You are greedy, they are giving. You are stupid, they are smart. Since you have no ability to communicate or articulate your ideas…their ideas dominate the culture. You, therefore…are not chic, not nuanced, not cool…they are.

William Ayers can get a professorship at the University of Illinois-Chicago Circle Campus, Dorhn can get a position at Northwestern, Noam Chomsky can get one at MIT, …people who have bombed our Pentagon, who openly preach treason and sedition, …but those who hold your values are not welcome. And you just sit there. Think about this, your views are not even welcome in the discussion.

Your wire services intentionally give you false reports…and you do nothing.

Your tv “news” stations commit glaring acts of intentional deceit and still you will not organize a protest.

Your economy is based upon essentially 25% of you carrying the rest on your backs, they steal your money for groups that slander you, and you sit around waiting for someone else to stand up to them…and then blame your elected officials for not taking them on…by not voting for them.

It’s either time to get up off the couch and stand up for yourself, or it’s time to quit complaining that you don’t like the situation. It should be pretty obvious by now, nobody is going to do it for you. If you don’t like extreme leftism, it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee. You are in a war with the Aliskyites and you are losing.

They are organized and you are not. And they intend to win…by any means necessary.

It was 105% of the population that was eligible to vote, which is bad enough.

Sounds like they were speaking of Philadelphia... Ward politics in that city is bare-knuckles... sometimes literally.

Amazing.

The Dummies' man, Gore, lost in 2000.

For 2004, the enraged Dummies engaged in massive voter fraud. They still lost.

More experienced now, the Dummies up their effort, bringing in registration statistics that exceed 100%.

We don't call them Dummies for nothing...

3,000 whole votes!!! Some of which may indeed be fraudulent but most of which are probably legit. That’s a pretty weak effort.

Think the left can stop saying ‘Diebold’ long enough to comment on this obvious fraud? Me neither.

If Obama wins and gets a filibuster-proof Senate, we’re going to have a very different country in a few years. We’ll be entering a dark era.

"Sounds like they were speaking of Philadelphia..."

Should be interesting to see how many "new" voters turn out in Philly this Nov. since 115-120% of eligible voters have cast ballots in recent previous elections. This should easily set a new record since PA has registered an additional 500,000 Democrat voters this year.

The fact you can vote a month out is all I need to know about Ohio. Why not just make it open voting year round? You have a party of immature children and you are going to put the Christmas presents under the tree a month before the day. Gee, think they’ll peek? Yes. You can’t watch them 24/7 for a month. Idiots. Should be unconstituational, 4th amendment stuff.
