The trillion dollar debt and the devalued dollar loom. What are you doing at home to prepare your children for the future?

I have been encouraging my children to earn less and do for themselves more. To stick together and work with each other so they will not have to earn as much.

What are you doing at home to prepare your children for the future? Teaching God's Word and making sure that it is understood and practiced.

Mine are already grown, out on their own, working adults.
I didn’t quit though, I work with the Boy Scouts helping another generation “Be Prepared.”

Encouraging him to have faith in God, himself, and to also look for the thread of good. Also, I think it’s critically important to make sure your child or children know they are loved. In that I believe comes a strength that will guide them through whatever hardships life serves up.

That is a foundation for the coming times.

You are on the right track.
Do you have any economic advice for them?

They all know how to field strip, clean, assemble, check, and then fire a .22 Marlin, a Winchester 30.06, a Star .45 and a Mossberg 500 .12 ga.

Mine are grown and on their own. If I had young ones though, I would have them in private schools. I wouldn’t send my neighbors kids to public school. In California, 30% don’t graduate from High School. In some cities in California, only 30% do graduate.

They shoot, reload, hunt, skin, pack meat, garden....they’re homeschooled (graduated one already!), conservative, and Christian. :-)
To: Chickensoup
Yeah I really didn't. I mean, I'm not even 30 years old yet, I'm probably still a kid to much of FR. :)
