A Hollywood lib objecting? Shocking! Notice how they don't mention he's an Obama supporter until the last half. Still interesting that this guy has produced two things about female Vice Presidents. You'd think he'd be milking it.

Ooh, it sounds like this 'creative' writer got uhh uhh uhh-bama's talking point: "The idea of this woman actually facing down [Vladimir] Putin and negotiating with [Dmitry] Medvedev is idiotic."

Not very creative, there, you ho-wood punk. Dozens of others on your side have already used that idea during the past 24 hours.

Besides, we all know where zero bama's face will be when meeting putin: it'll be somewhere below putin's belt.

"The idea of this woman actually facing down [Vladimir] Putin and negotiating with [Dmitry] Medvedev is idiotic."

Has he met her? Worked with her? Is he basing his assumption on anything other than the fact that she is a woman?

Let's face it, if McCain/Palin don't win, it proves America is sexist and ageist. /S

OFF TOPIC.

Statement by the President on Governor Sarah Palin

White House News

Today, Senator McCain made an exciting decision in choosing Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to join him on his ticket as the Vice Presidential candidate. Governor Palin is a proven reformer who is a wise steward of taxpayer dollars and champion for accountability in government. Governor Palin’s success is due to her dedication to principle and her roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and serves as a wonderful example of the spirit of America. By selecting a working mother with a track record of getting things done, Senator McCain has once again demonstrated his commitment to reforming Washington.

I applaud Senator McCain for selecting Governor Palin. This decision is yet another example of why the American people can trust him to make wise decisions and to confidently lead this country.

Uh.....Rod, WTF are you talking about? Governor Palin IS female. Aside from that there is no parallel. So, no royalties for you. Too bad.

There were actually more people in the audience at the McCain / Palin rally than number of people who watched Commander-In-Chief combined.

It does go to show, that none of what these people ever say has to do with "diversity" or "breaking glass ceilings". It's all about installing liberals to power who cannot be criticized.

In other words: I’m not an intellectual, but I play one on TV and am therefore qualified to comment on such matters as if my opinion mattered. What a bunch of hooey!

"I think that Geena and I need to be paid royalties by the Republicans."

First Jackson Browne wants $75,000 from McCain for playing one of his songs and now this. What is it with these greedy leftists anyway? It's always money, money, money. Gimme some money.

I love how all of a sudden, the most important issue among libs is if the President Of The United States has what it takes to stare down Vladimir Putin.

Honest to gawd, Barry. You should turn it into an ad. Talk about the dangerous times we live in and the importance of having a Commander In Chief who can stare down Putin. Also, make sure that people know that you think Sarah Palin can't do it because she's a woman.

We don't need the world to see a soft, indecisive woman commanding the troops,"

This doesn't describe Sarah Palin. The author is either lying or uninformed.

Hello? Anybody home?

Sarah Palin HAS dealt directly with Putin and Medvedev, on issues stemming from territorial fishing grounds in the Bering Strait, and by all accounts, earned their respect.

This is a woman who gets up at 3 AM to go out and hunt moose, field dresses it for transport back in, and cuts it up for moose stew.

They don’t call her “Sarah Barracuda” for nothing, you know.

Palin becoming president does ơt worry me at all. Actually I might just prefer Palin to McCain at the top of the ticket. Biden becoming president would most likely be a national and international disaster of Carter proportions with the addded horror of there being an existential war on that already our side is not fighting.

A soft indecisive woman like Margaret Thatcher? If you are throwing darts at the phone book, then chances are that a woman would be a less fortunate pick than a man. However, no matter what the shape of the curve or how steep, there are some at the top of it. Thatcher was at the top of the curve. Irt looks like Palin is there also.

hmm....

Like Jimmy Carter stared down Khomenei or Brezhnev? Like Clinton stared down the warlords of Somalia? I am sure Freepers can recall some other great dim stare downs.

...relatively inexperienced young woman...

"Relative", interesting word. If that relativity is a comparison to Obama, she is highly qualified.

But tell me. Who must we compare Obama to in order to find that he is relatively qualified?
