Obama backer George Clooney plans a movie on Osama bin Laden's driver
Los Angeles Times ^ | Aug. 11, 2008 | Andrew Malcolm

George Clooney, one of Hollywood's most prominent backers of Democratic Sen. Barack Obama for president, has bought the movie rights to tell the story of Osama bin Laden's driver.

According to the report in the Guardian, the book sympathetically portrays Hamdan and his Navy lawyer, Charles Swift, as the little guys up against the powerful forces of the United States government. Clooney, who is reportedly offering policy and speaking advice plus also helping Obama raise money from within the wealthy, liberal Hollywood community, is said to covet the role of Swift for himself.

Clooney and Obama ... birds of a feather.

More evidence... even if indirect, that Obama IS anti-American and a terrorist sympathizer, who shouldn't even be allowed near the White House, much less given residency there and the presidency that goes with it.

Any ONE association may not be "proof" but Obama's PATTERN of close association with dozens of anti-Americans, terrorists, terrorist sympathizer is NOT an accident.

This should be a nail in the coffin for Obama's presidential campaign.

...There is absolutely no bounds to the insanity of the Hollywood Left...especially when his main supporter wants to make a motion picture sympathetic to the very people who were responsible for murdering 3,000 American citizens on September 11.

...It's truly a shame and pity there are no more John Wayne types left in Tinseltown to counter this sort of trash.

When it’s not outright propaganda for the enemy it’s mere treasonous longings.......

Yeah, what about that tactile rocket launcher the driver had in his back seat — will Clooney mention that?

Barack Obama gets advice from new 'friend' George Clooney

from UK Telegraph

George Clooney has become one of Barack Obama's most high-profile backers, calling him several times a week to offer advice on body language, presentation and policy.

Hollywood star Clooney, 47, struck up a close relationship with Mr Obama and is now in regular contact by phone, text and email, according to reports.

Democratic sources claim the Oscar-winner has been sharing his views on policy, urging Mr Obama to take a more "balanced" stance on US relations with Israel.

But one Democratic insider claims their relationship could be "very risky" for Mr Obama's election chances.

"'George is pro-Palestinian. And he is also urging Barack to withdraw unconditionally from Iraq if he wins," the source told the Mail on Sunday.

Clooney is as ignorant of reality as any other celeb, so of course he’s the perfect person to advise Obama, who wants to be Celeb-in-Chief.

What Clooney and other assorted Hollywood nitwits do or say doesn’t provoke any anger or even interest on my part. He’s totally predictable and even a little boring at this point. “Deja vu all over again.”

The problem is that Obama, a presidential candidate IS LISTENING to Clooney. Would you like to have a president, who gets his advice from people like Clooney?

Gee. You would think Hollywood would be rushing to make a movie of something like the book “Lone Survivor” about the SEAL team that was attacked in Afghanistan killing three out of the four members, then the survivor was protected and taken care of by an Afghan village.

Instead, we have a hagiographic movie about the faithful driver of a mass-murdering bastard.

Just unbelievable.
