I just found $399,323,24 in fishy donations from overseas. Searched for “NA” as State, and voila, 760 contributions from overseas. I posted on another thread and don't want to list all 760 again... They are all overseas, and knew not to post country code... NONE of the results are for McCain or Clinton. I used the Orlando Sentinal's search page

His violations are obvious. No one cares. I almost think that McCain should stage an incident in (let's say) France. He could walk down the street, some French lady could write him a check for $5000 (over the limit PLUS foreign contribution), he could thank her and then say "If you have friends who want to contribute, I'm at the Hotel de Concorde!" and make sure that the press captures the moment.
I bet all hell would break loose.
For the record, U.S. citizens living abroad are allow to contribute to federal campaigns.
Go figure..
This Rafiq Al-shahbaz guy seems to give often with a small amount ($20-25). I think that way the campaign can claim a big number of donations are from ‘individuals who give less than $50”.

I realize that, but questions are raised. The fact they didn’t put their US address is odd, they seem to have realized an issue.

You can verify at the FEC web site. They can give if the are a American living overseas or a Green Card. Otherwise its an Illegal contribution and we need to stir up some noise on this issue.
This needs to be driven home to the Federal Elections Commission which is a do-nothing organization when it comes to perceived corruption like this.

Reviewing the file, some are typos (actual US cities), $6,120.00 is APO Military mail address. Otherwise, foreign.
Of the foreign, who knows how much is American citizen money.
I just found a donor, husband and spouse each giving $2,300 with connections to Iran and George Soros. They live in London. Are they Americans?
But what can you do with it??? The media won't touch the Edwan brothers in Gaza for crying out loud!!
The data is all available at FEC.gov. It is the file called “other.zip”.

On second thought, Pamela at Atlas is all set up to do this. I just sent her the file and she will upload it. There is much better information in the file than you will find at these other sites. The other sites limit what you see or search to contributions over $200. This file has all of it.
It’s stunning what the MSM won’t do, isn’t it? I’m wondering how many of these donors are US citizens living abroad- making them “legal” and aboveboard- and how many are questionable!
