1. Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) Marsha Blackburn has been a member of Congress since 2003. She attractive and a very strong conservative. I hate to play the gender card, but I believe that McCain needs a female vice president on the ticket. She would be appealing to disenfranchised conservatives and to women at the same time.
wardaddy—thanks for all the info.
Just trying to make sure she’s the real deal. The GOP has been a major disappointment at all levels in recent years.
Nice to see a real conservative doing well.
I love marsha but it seems to me mccain needs someone to deliver key states.
tn and the south is in the bag already...trust me
I'm sure there are a lot of Congresspeople who hire family members to run their campaigns. I'm sure they think they can be trusted more than others.
Leatherwood is not making himself look good with his attacks on Blackburn, nor has he gotten any traction. His real issue is that the Memphis suburbs don’t have a Congressmember, but that’s the fault of the rodent gerrymanderers here in Nashville, not Blackburn.
Kemp?
Me thinks and old McCain needs some new blood, not some old retread.
Can’t see Kemp charging up woman, latins, or moderates.
They'd find Mitt cold and aloof, and he goes to church too much.
Hillary's gals are out there footloose and fancy free. I think Kasich is their kind of guy. Whether or not he's the sort of guy who pays the bills, I'm sure they'd understand he could if he wanted to.
Nope.
He needs a governor to balance the ticket. Palin is a much better choice if he wants to go the female route too.
The best Vice Presidential Pick would be Dan Quayle. He is proven and experienced. He will “lock in” Indiana for the Republicans.
With his sunny demeanor and obvious athletic skills, Quayle is the one political leader that “nobody doesn’t like”.
You can’t be series.
I will never forget how Marsha stood up against Governor Taxquist when he was trying to shove a state income tax down our throat. She drove all the way from Nashville to the Tri-Cities in a driving rainstorm to speak to a small gathering of people who were opposing the income tax. There were only a few people in attendance; the rainstorm the primary reason. She could have cancelled, and we all would have understood, but she came though anyway. A class act all the way...
Marsha is one of the few women in politics I admire...and I like her a lot.
*there aren’t many folks to admire period these days.
This is sarcasm, right?
There recently surfaced a low quality Marsha Blackburn Sex Tape from when she was in her 30s and it’s caused a stir in some church communities because it is some really dirty stuff and reportedly with an older gentleman to whom she was not married. I’ll find the sendspace for this and post it.
