"NOT GUILTY!"

But so what? Some of us might see nothing more than a blonde/blue bimbo.

If it ends up being Romney, I’ll streak down Broadway for at least one mile

(The Boise, ID Broadway, not the New York Broadway)

Marsha is a good choice and a good conservative. I met her personally on several occasions and she is warm and sincere and pretty, too.

That star necklace might indicate that she’s a member of the Illuminati. ;)

I just don’t want to see another Republican who might disdain accountability being foisted upon us nationally.

I'm not sure what you mean but a 100 ACU rating is not very common.

Even the rabid left Tennessean has never attacked her for the allegations her primary opponent has made that have you fretting.

Hence I would not fret.

Ms. Blackburn seems to be moving up as a conservative leader. What was her experience before serving in the House? The Dems said we should not question Geraldine Ferraro’s ability to serve as president though she had only 3 terms in the House and had been a prosecutor of some kind before that. Sounded like a rather slim resume at the time.

Marsha managed to get the “marriage penalty” removed from the income tax in her first two years in the House. As a state Senator, she was instrumental in preventing the ‘Rats from ramming a state income tax down our throats.

you got me looking...there is one hit on Google News for “Marsha Blackburn corrupted”...

this just simply gets no traction here...she is beloved by her constituients and Leatherwood is endearing himself to no one talking trash like that

but I find out by reading the article that her son in law whom I have met btw but did not know all this, lobbied for Dialogic Communications ...a security/emergency answering switchbox private company in her district which last year was sold in an aquisition is a company I am quite familiar with.

it was started by friends of my dad and includes some very fine older men who have impeccable credentials...VMI and Annapolis grads amongst them....all very conservative. my dad had bought in 20 years ago and we as a family ...which I now run as eldest surviving son..owned around 3.5% of the company prior to the sale option dilutions to board members and excecutives...we still have another payment due in a year or so...

small world I had no idea but I can tell you DCC is owned and run by fine folks and they would not hire a lobbyist to do anything illegal

I don’t find a lady looking out for companies in her district unusual, in fact it’s her job....and well done.

funny thing....i never knew about this

I guess your analogy might apply to the president/vice president of the PTA (or not).

Ever had a job? Worked in an office. The phenomenon I describe isn't limited to PTA meetings. It's very real, and it's out there.

She is woman who likes being awoman and understands the real power in that and still being a girl.

I like that....strident women do nothing for me

“McCain Veepstakes Predictions: Marsha Blackburn?”

Biggest drawback; WHO?

He needs someone with name recognition, someone that will outshine him with the base....shouldn’t be too difficult.

“You don’t have a VP people would rather have as president.”

Perhaps you do when the fossil at the top of the ticket is talking up his recent cancer scare.

I would pick Romney. In a way, he was my original choice for the President.

I heard she was a big pork barrel/earmark one. However, it’s probably hard to find a congress person who WASN’T a porker during the past 4-8 years.

I’ve been touting Marsha Blackburn as a good VP choice for months.

I have been in the work force in one manner or another (employee or owner) all my life. (And I’m not a kid, I assure you.)

My point was, some women will vote for a women whether they are beautiful, ugly, smart or dumb as a door nail. This is not a proud statement. But I guess it typifies much of the voting public. It isn’t a matter of the issues..it’s a matter of sex..race..gender..party affiliation.

The phenomenom you speak of is true..to a degree. But the “you ain’t woman enough to take my man” syndrome may not apply here.
