Saturday EaglesUp organized a Support The Troops Rally in Berkeley, CA on the street in front of the Marine Recruiting Office (Officially The Marine Corps Officer Selection Office)

Melanie Morgan gave a great speech and Diane Nagy sang patriotic songs.

There were several Gold Star Family members present, and one Gold Star Mother gave a moving speech

Jim Robinson-the creator of Free Republic- was there with his wife and one of his sons.

Several hundered came by Motorcycle after meeting down the road in Emeryville.

It was a great rally with a fantastic enthusiastic Patrioic American Military Loving crowd.

Gold Star Father Mark Crowley was there with his wife. This is one cool guy, he traveled part way on one of the MAF caravans and shows up at almost all of the events to support the troops.

That is awesome Diva Singer Diane Nagy on the left. She belts out some powerful Patriotic Songs.

Great seeing Melanie Morgan again. Since KSFO in San Francisco canned her, I haven't heard much from her.

It had four flags on it, an American Flag and I believe the other 3 were of various branches of our Military
Behind that was a pickup with a sound system on it that a Patriot brought for the event. He is a neat guy, he bought the equipment and one of his sons ran it.

When Gold Star Father Mike Anderson, Sr. (Who's son Mike Anderson, Jr. was KIA in Iraq), Melanie greeted him warmly. They have been at many events together.

I'm always impressed by people that have real cameras.

We asked her who she represented, and which side she supported. (Because there were about 40 code pink, world can't wait and various other communist anti-Americans there)

She said she was just documenting the event, and wouldn't say any more.

Well, except to say she was from Pinch Me Media or something like that.

She said she didn't have a card, but she could leave a mark...I passed on that.

The Berkeley anti-American guy was only interested in communicating with her chest. I guess he doesn't know what ears are for.

Despite the massive heat wave rolling through the San Francisco Bay Area, (tempertures nearly 100 in Berkeley where it rarely cracks 65) hundreds of bikers from all around the western part of the United States rumbled through the East Bay Saturday to stand in solidarity with the United States Marine Corps, under attack from anarchists to cross-dressing she/she's from Code Pink.

As I pulled up to Shattuck Square, I was on the phone with nationally syndicated talk show host Monica Crowley, doing a live broadcast about Thunder Strike from EaglesUp and other pro-troopers...rounding the corner in my big honkin' SUV and nearly ran over the orange-clad jumpsuit crowd (you know, the guys at World Can't Wait who think that we are being sooo mean to terrorists at Gitmo.)

I was surprised to hear the name-calling that began as soon as they caught sight of me in my cammo t-shirt and jeans. "Melanie Morgan loves war! Melanie Morgan supports rape! Melanie Morgan supports torture."

Geez, I was so pleased. Think of it --the honor of being heckled by some of the most notorious anti-American, violence prone, George Soros funded groups on the political stage today.

At one point one of the no-nonsense Berkeley cops gave a World Can't Wait organizer a talking-to.


After a tiff, the cop decided to give him a citation for an infraction of some kind, and the WCW honcho gave him a classic "You have got to be kidding me" look.

When Melanie Morgan was leaving, Diana Nagy and I walked her through the "gauntlet" of terrorist supporting commies as they yelled at her saying she supports murder and rape.

As soon as we got past them, 2 Berkeley Police Officers were jogging towards her to give her an escort to her car.

The guy in the picture was stalking her, and pulled back when he saw that the cops were protecting her.

I filmed the last part of it.

I am going to try to get some of my video up later.

When I see pictures like these or meet a Marine it gives me hope and makes me proud to call myself an American. I spoke with and thanked a Marine at my local store just yesterday. What you all did Saturday was...well, it was honorable. Thanks for the pics and ping Syncro.:)

As with you, Pete's beard caught the libs off guard when we were doing our street corner freeping in the Bubba campaign days. They were puzzled because he looked like he belonged with them on their side of the street.

I understand he's clean-shaven now.....he should have saved the beard for the Freeper Museum located in the Smithsonian. Where the Freeper Museum is located in the Smithsonian, I can't say, as it's top secret known only to Scott McClellan.
