Pantsuit On Fire

By INVESTOR'S BUSINESS DAILY

Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Election '08: Trailing in delegates, the last straw for Hillary Clinton may have come as her fanciful account of braving gunfire in Bosnia in 1996 is exposed. But then falsehood and the former first lady are fast friends.

---------------------------------------------------------

The official response of the campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., regarding her claims of being under sniper fire upon arrival in Bosnia as first lady 12 years ago is that she "misspoke" — and that's all her team has to say about it.

But this particular fib is not likely to be explained away as easily as, say, her claim that she was named after Everest conqueror Sir Edmund Hillary — more than five years before the New Zealander achieved his feat.

Hillary in the end laughed that one off as a whimsical slice of tongue-in-cheek family lore.

In the case of Bosnia, there is videotape from CBS News that incontrovertibly conflicts with Hillary's emphatic descriptions of what she experienced on her trip.

"I remember landing under sniper fire," she said during a speech on Saint Patrick's Day last week. "There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."

In a press conference after the speech, she repeated her contentions. "There was no greeting ceremony, and we basically were told to run to our cars," Sen. Clinton said. "Now, that is what happened."..........

You are absolutely right, why can’t we all just be more understanding...the way Hillary was with General Petraeus
about the surge?

I’d have to guess that there never was a time as FLOTUS that she had to duck and run to the motorcade, otherwise we’d already have heard how she confused the two events with the passage of time. That would be the only plausible excuse one could offer. Instead, she had to have fabricated the incident completely. Despicable...Right on - she compounded her problem today when she told an interviewer In Philly, who asked if there was ever a time when she had come under fire in her travels, - "no, never" - no way now she can claim it was a simple mixup.......

I watched Lanny Davis on msnbc. Got the distinct feeling he was very tired of it all and about ready to throw up on camera. Good thing for her he’s not a delegate, because he’s ready to detach.

This is like Kerry’s Christmas in Cambodia, or Al Gore’s...well, Gore’s list is too long.

Pathological liars like Pantsuit, Slick Willie and Tommie Flanagan prevaricate even when the truth would serve them better. It’s what they do.

The local paper's coverage noted that Sinbad (the alleged entertainer) who was in the entourage of that time, doesn't remember any such gunfire etc. IOW, she lied. The lame excuse given was that she's told the story lots of times, but this one time she had a brain fart and inserted this sniper fire story -- despite the fact that she's never in her life been under sniper fire, so there's no other experience that she could have conflated with the real version of events. IOW, she lied.

Not only is she a liar, but she believes that the public is unable to catch her in a lie. Perhaps she thinks that there are only three broadcast stations and the newspapers to dispense the socialist line.

If she told it on St. Patrick’s Day, it’s a fine example of blarney.

What is the Difference Between a Pathological, a Compulsive, a Chronic, and a Habitual Liar?

Pathological Liar

A pathological liar is usually defined as someone who lies incessantly to get their way and does so with little concern for others. Pathological lying is often viewed as coping mechanism developed in early childhood and it is often associated with some other type of mental health disorder. A pathological liar is often goal-oriented (i.e., lying is focused - it is done to get one’s way). Pathological liars have little regard or respect for the rights and feelings of others. A pathological liar often comes across as being manipulative, cunning and self-centered.

Compulsive Liar

A compulsive liar is defined as someone who lies out of habit. Lying is their normal and reflexive way of responding to questions. Compulsive liars bend the truth about everything, large and small. For a compulsive liar, telling the truth is very awkward and uncomfortable while lying feels right. Compulsive lying is usually thought to develop in early childhood, due to being placed in an environment where lying was necessary. For the most part, compulsive liars are not overly manipulative and cunning (see, Pathological Liar), rather they simply lie out of habit - an automatic response which is hard to break and one that takes its toll on a relationship (see, how to cope with a compulsive liar).

(methinks she qualifies for pathological.)

He's a bigtime phony and I could never vote for him, but he's up against the Clintons, and that ain't gonna be pretty.

Exactly my sentiments. HillBill have outlied Barack & Michelle about a 1,000,000 - 1, their enablers, sycophants and co-conspirators have outlied them about 10,000,0000 - 1. They have outshadycharactered them about 1,000,000 - 2. They are premeditated criminals in the 1st degree. Woe is this great nation.

:’) I think the boundaries are blurry; she got called on her lie and her “explanation” was itself a lie. :’D
