This is a CALL for RESOURCES. As California Coordinator for Gathering of Eagles, I have located living room campout/sleeping space in the Berkeley area for some Eagles coming in from out of town. We need a lot more living rooms!
Also helpful would be knowledgeable locals who can help with parking and a shuttle service--why feed BERKELEY'S parking meters?!?
Also need bottled water, snacks, sunblock, hand sanitizer, batteries of all sizes, posterboards, Magic Markers, whatever you think might be useful. Check back for updates.

No surprise there. Many City Councils are blatant in their use of secret meetings to cut their deals, that's why they live in nice houses above their pay grade.
In our town they did that, pocketed their money and two were put up for recall, and one was successful

I know a tiny bit of sign language taught to me by Dr. Zoo, I could give the Council an eyeful. I don't think they know how to interpret though.
No need to fight code pink for seats, if no real Americans get in the meeting, so be it.
They will be smugly pleased, and it will make them look even more pathetic and just display their un American actions to prove they want to be dictators like their friend Hugo Chavez.
It will only prolong the battle in our favor IMO.
They do have opposition from some in the city, I have heard the hill dwellers are disgusted with the council

Mighty Warrior King and Sovereign Lord, we thank you for how it is going today, even though initially it seems out of control and unreal. By their ridiculous and law-breaking actions this morning they are revealing their true nature to all. And thank you for the media coverage and all the nation watching (even the world). These anti-war activists are becoming so ridiculous that no one will be able to take them seriously anymore. Give the pro troop supporters courage, strength and wisdom NOT to stoop to their level. To stand firm, to persevere and not to waver but not to engage these individuals. We need Your strength, Your power in this. Use this for Your purposes to support our troops in the end. I trust the city counsel in Berkeley appreciates that their
actions were beyond their scope. Beyond their charter. In other
word their actions were out of balance. The congress has sought to
restore balance. Berkeley loses and the Marine Corps gains, kinda
zen don’t you think? Berkeley should appreciate that. Now for an act
of kindness by the Corps. We generally name something after someone
to thank them. We should name $2mill. worth of ammo after Berkeley
and call them Berkeley Death Rounds. They should like our remembering
them and the media can broadcast every day how many Berkeley Death
Rounds the Marines used to kill our nation’s enemies. Now what Real
American would not like that?
