The media said Obama took the majority of the youth vote under 30. In other words he owns the indoctrinated. This is a group that will tell you George Bush brought down the WTC but can't tell you who Ramsey Yousef is. This is a group that will swear we went to war with Iraq because Cheney wanted the oil but can't tell you why Cheney called for the end to hostilities after liberating Kuwait. This is a group that can't tell you what ANY of the specifics are of Obama's proposals. I suppose we can give them a pass for that because I don't think anybody including Obama himself knows the answer to that question.

Great post. But what the hell is up with some people here drooling over Obama like fangirls? You can’t be serious. Gah.

Aside from the broohaha over Obama's disrespectful pose, doesn't anyone wonder why these people don't know how to dress?

But, only 41% of the non-Blacks voted for Hillary (Whites, Hispanics, Asians, etc). This won’t get it done for Hillary, even when the Black vote is a smaller percentage than in SC. Remember, the Democrat primaries are not winner take all.

Credit? I was talking to a Dem tonight and asked....”What is the core difference between Repubs and Dems?”

His answer....”Dems are pro union and Repubs are Pro business and Dems are for lower taxes and Repubs are for higher taxes”

I almost fell out of my chair. Maybe we need to do some educating.

So don't they have clean golf shirts? Pressed slacks that fit? Bass Weejuns? Maybe a big old belt buckle with a fancy, cleaned and pressed cowboy shirt?

They're all wearing clothes that say, "I couldn't be bothered to look good for you people."

I wonder if we aren’t in big trouble regardless of who gets elected. I hate to keep sounding the clarion call of “The Sky Is Falling”, but there are an awful lot things that are near the breaking point right now, any one of which could push us over the edge.

That's how I see it, too. There are no more limited-government conservatives running on the GOP side now, either. But, at least, conservatives will have some pull with a Republican President. With a Dem in office, we're sunk, unless the GOP takes back Congress.

The new administration needs to start off with an entirely new slate of players at all levels of every department. W has been the target of an endless stream of out and out tricks to sink his administration. This has got to stop.

Good point.

I am convinced that absolutely the first order of business has got to be cleaning house of those who don’t fully support the new President’s ideas and plans. Everyone of those holdovers who can’t fight for the President’s platform have got to go, even if it means some problems with getting things done until the new team is on board and up to speed. In fact, for my money a four to six month respite from all the harm most of government does would be welcome.

Not sure if I agree with the no women or the “property owning” thing, but if you did have such a designation I think you could say regardless of age at that point.

"I almost fell out of my chair. Maybe we need to do some educating."

hahaha...That's very true BUT as long as our (R's) stick together we don't need to worry about those liberals. They can't get out of their own way...
