On Turkey—yes there is no state religion there and wearing a hijab is actually forbidden, but 98% of the population is still Muslim, and Islam is NOT a ‘great’ religion

To add to that--Turkey's democracy does not co-exist with Islam, because Turkey has no state religion. The government is secular (the populace, however...) Also Islam and democracy are incompatable--under a democracy you can critique and change what you don't like; under Islam you must submit to Allah and if you don't your head comes off

I have to admit that despite having voted for him twice, I have become increasingly frustrated - if not alarmed - by the man. Today's reference to Israeli "occupation" was particularly grating to me, and I suddenly have a great deal of reflecting to do.

As a mere grafted branch, there's not a small amount of praying I am compelled to do as well.

Bush should actually be made an honorary muzzie for all he’s trying to do for them. Is he weak? Is he stupid? Or is he simply evil? Is he all or some of the above? Or is it some kind of global corporate greed thing where he envisions earth inc. where nothing matters but the bottom line?

Bush needs someone to spell it out to him about Kosovo.

We need to stay out of that part of the world.

Bush needs to be told to look no futher than the Border States here in the USA. Does Bush support giving the Southwest back to the Mexican government? Is he blind?

The next move by the Mexicans in the Southwest is: Gives us our land back and how will the next President defend keeping the land in view of the USA assisting Muslim invaders taking the sovereign land of Serbia.
