Cold War 2: The Cold War is not over, it's just in a more covert phase. The superpowers, the US and Russia, are behind the scenes and carrying out their work through proxies in the Middle East. Why the Middle East? Because that's where the oil is. It's no longer an arms race, it's a resources race. Take a look at the map I made below:
