Obama's Alinsky Jujitsu ... (is just too slick for her and ole Bill)
American Thinker ^ | January 08, 2008 | Kyle-Anne Shiver

If I were the least bit prone to gratuitous sympathy, I would be tempted now to feel quite sorry for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Poor, poor woman. She was quite nearly brought to all-out tears yesterday in New Hampshire, as she soliloquized over the sad state of her drooping campaign and how completely personal this is for her.

Barack Obama seems to have effortlessly achieved voter adoration, fresher, younger, more at ease within his own skin than she will ever be. He would appear to be as much a natural as her own Bill. It may appear to a great many observers that Barrack Obama is just one incredibly audacious, even lucky, albeit frighteningly charismatic dude.

These personal qualities are not the sole reason he is where he is, and I suspect the wily Mrs. Clinton knows this full well. I suspect it must bother her that Obama also appears to have mastered the playbook used by her own political teacher , the legendary amoral guru of left wing activism, Saul Alinksy.

Hillary has met not only her match in Alinsky tactics, she has met the master of bloodless socialist revolution, in my opinion.

Obama's Alinsky Lessons

Barack Obama had just graduated from Columbia and was looking for a job. Some white leftists were looking for someone who could recruit in a black neighborhood in the south side of Chicago.

Obama answered a help-wanted ad for a position as a community organizer for the Developing Communities Project (DCP) of the Calumnet Community Religious Conference (CCRC) in Chicago. Obama was 24 years old, unmarried, very accustomed to a vagabond existence, and according to his memoir, searching for a genuine African-American community.

How does someone beat an expert Alinsky rules practioner?

By becoming a better Alinsky rules practitioner.

What I don’t get about realist, pragmatist, athiest, live in the moment guys like Alinsky is why bother? If nothing has any meaning, if it’s all relative, why spend all your time and energy on political organization, revolution, trying to upset the apple cart? What’s the point? Why not just get drunk and score chicks?

And by the way, it is a great article. Most insightful piece on Obama I’ve probably ever read (not that I have done a whole lot of reading on him, but at least someone isn’t acting like a fawning twist and is writing about the cold hard truth. Politics ain’t tiddlywinks.

No sympathy for Hillary. The rule should be to pile on, pile on, and pile on some more, until it is clear that she is too damaged to run for President this year, or any year. Think Teddy Kennedy after Chappaquiddick. We couldn't keep him out of the Senate, but we sure as Hell kept him out of the White House.

During the 60's, lots of guys went to Leftist anti-war rallies, because that was a good place to find chicks. As an "organizer", Alinsky got to spend his days talking to young people, many of whom were reasonably cute girls. He did it because he was doing something which he regarded as FUN

Similarly with Bill Clinton, politics was the means to getting power, wealth ($million speaking fees, "contributions" to the Clinton library, God knows how much in "contributions" in accounts in the Cayman Islands), and access to female political "groupies". Why do guys dream of being Rock Stars?

Because people with his mindset have an enormous hatred of people who are not “realist, pragmatic, atheist” types, and also of their society. Alinsky’s whole life is about destroying anybody who is not like him, and this is where he gets his satisfaction. It’s also a covert lust for power, because Alinsky never has to step out in front and publicly compete for acceptance of his ideas, but uses other people as his tools and manages to exert his power without being subject to any criticism or attention.

And precisely how does one get drunk and score chicks?

Power, man. Raw power.

And where is the power?

In politics, man. Raw politics.

After high school, Obama moved to Los Angeles, where he studied at Occidental College for two years.[21] He then transferred to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in international relations.[22] Obama received his B.A. degree in 1983, then worked at Business International Corporation and NYPIRG before moving to Chicago to take a job as a community organizer.[23] As Director of the Developing Communities Project, he worked with low-income residents in Chicago’s Roseland community and the Altgeld Gardens public housing development.[24] He entered Harvard Law School in 1988.[25] In 1990, The New York Times reported his election as the Harvard Law Review’s “first black president in its 104-year history”.[26] He completed his J.D. degree magna cum laude in 1991

Money quote from the article, about the church that Obama goes to:
This doesn't sound like any church in which I've ever worshipped, but perhaps I have led a sheltered life. And when one takes into account that the Reverend Wright, whom Obama his spiritual mentor and still claims is his sounding board, is also a former Muslim who has taken trips abroad with none other than Louis Farrakhan, one might be led to wonder if this "church" isn't all it makes itself out to be.
Did somebody from Nation of Islam decide to practice a little Taqiyya and found a church which pretends to be mainstream Christian, but really is a covert Black Muslim outpost?
